I watched this exact sermon from transformation. He was setting an over exaggerated example for how many Christians don't take care of themselves quite literally after church on Sundays as people like to stuff their faces with garbage food. We're careless for how we take care and maintain our own body's, our temple. When it comes to the church, the bible. A lot of us really don't care and we take it for granted. Ive seen this first hand from Pentecostal, Baptist and non denominational members act this way. It takes one to know one and Im really not gonna act fake even if Im online behind a screen. SIMPLE. Lets do better because we follow a god that IS better.

My wife is the one who brought this to my attention and she was completely against Todd doing what he did..
Me, on the other hand, wanted to see the full sermon.
1. Because a book with ink in it is just a book with ink in it
2. I understand what one must do to stand out in this world of diluted messages
3. I like Todd so naturally, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.
And, I was right to do so.
I've been saying what Todd said in his sermon for years now. Not the holy spirit part, that was all a new spin for me, but how we eat and are slowly poison ourselves with a spoon and fork.
Like Todd, I was very heavy at one point so I got the message immediately, but... To hear my wife come up against his tactics the way she did shocked me...
I asked her: "Did she watch the full sermon?"
Her answer was "No..."😵
After what we been through these last 4 years I was Surprised to hear she didn't watch the full sermon, so I grabbed the phone and cued up the message for us to both watch.
She didn't change her viewpoint on Todd pouring syrup on the bible, but she got the point.
This video is about 7 minutes shorter than the original. As an editor and Content creator, I must cut out parts of the video that may or may not need to be in the final edit to keep viewer retention.
There's parts where I explained how the bible is not the original scriptures, has been altered more times than we can follow, has been massed produced, and is not how we receive the holy spirit. It's a book that helps us understand ourselves better. Having an emotional attachment to a book is the equivalent of calling your car a "she" or a "her". It's rubbish, yet we assign meaning to things that doesn't deserve it.
Unfortunately, that part didn't make it into the final cut, but it is what it is
I almost did what most people do. And didn’t watch the whole video. I saw this sermon before it went viral. Most people had no context of that message and missed the point. It was such a good illustration of how most of the church approaches their faith these days.

You should contact Mike Todd and talk to him personally about how you feel when he did this rather than bashing him down
“It is what it is.” Bro swore he did something… if you don’t like what he did then go talk to him about it.. like adults and come to a conclusion where you both can still respect eachother off camera.. he is a pastor, im SURE he WOULD respond back.. no one is perfect bro but hey blessings to you and your family

I apologize for not making this message clear enough for you, however, I do think you're jumping to conclusions due to the amount of heat Todd has received over the last few years. I'm pointing out how this "Attack All Pastors" nonsense needs to be re-evaluted considering the fact that every profit/minister/preacher who dared to speak the truth has faced persecution because of their radical messages ,hence why I said:
"This is the Todd I want to get to know. Not the theatrical one, BUT it won't get as many views."
People only listen when you go to the extreme. Discord and polarizing the audience is the only way to wake ppl up unfortunately, but as I said... You wouldn't be commenting if I didn't start with giving you a reason... 😁😁😁
