I've not had the chance to listen to Scott Mills for years, life and moving abroad did that. But I remember listening to his shows a lot between 2005 and 2011, his shows were always great, slick and funny. He doesn't get all the plaudits but he's one of the best to do it.

@@samueljimenez1he wasn’t cancelled. Radio 2 offered Scott a show and he said “you don’t turn down Radio 2” so moved.
@@ectopudding That’s exactly what radio 1 do. They give you the chance to publicly “walk away”. If he refused they would have cancelled the show.
If only we could have a few more years at the tap end.....😭

I moved over to radio 2 with Scott, I do think there's something lacking and I think it's not having a co host, I think he needs someone to bounce off and have a laugh with on air to really bring out the best. I have discovered Jeremy vine though and I'm very happy with that
