I really like the idea of you selling playmats and other items related to the card game that are not repacks. I feel like repacks always leave a bad taste in people's mouths cuz if you sell them at value people will complain and they don't pull cards of value, and the only alternative to that is to sell them for a net loss on your end which is not sustainable. Sleeves, coins, dice and deck boxes I think would be really cool as well in the future
Definitely some truth to that! When selling mystery packs there will always be people who hate them.
This was cool to see, I opened a lot of pack back between 03 and 07 but rarely even saw the Japanese packs unless it was in a magazine. The pull rates really are insanely low in these.

A really nice OCG opening for sure, fit for a big celebration! Also, it's amazing to see you finally make your own paymat, and the art and idea are gorgeous.
Also, Last Warrior from Another Planet looks great in the parallel secret version, that's my favorite card today. But it was an opening full of old school classic epicness for sure.
It’s always so cool seeing so many old ocg packs being opened at the same time even if it’s hard to get foils and rares. Definitely my favorite cards from these packs would be the ulti blue eyes and red eyes from new ruler. Also sick looking playmats!
Love the OCG cards, I remember when I first started ages ago when LOB was released, when MFC came out; I pulled a first edition DMG and loved it so I decided to get the OCG version as well, and was lucky to get the arcana version of dark magician and the DMG OCG for only 20$ lol
This was one of my favourite openings. I remember this store near my grandmother's house sold OCG packs back in the day. I can only remember pulling Giant Axe Mummy, though.
Man, those were some wild pulls! OCG packs back in the day were brutal raritywise, pulling secrets and even that parallel ultra rare were really tough! Love that Mazera secret, congrats on pulling 2 really high rarities! :D

Keep it up Ruxin (from Northern Ireland)! Really enjoy the OCG pack openings, I went to Japan last year for the second time and started searching card shops to begin completing a binder full of Series 1 & 2 OCG holos as I just fell in love with the layout, artwork size and card quality, it's just perfect. Have it around 70% complete and plan to go back and finish it next year after I get married. 🇯🇵
Konami should bring back those big artwork style cards, but probably not too doable with the 3 paragraphs of texts that cards have nowadays
Love the ocg cards in comparison to TCG!! The ratios of shiny cards really drives the value I think we’ll at least the excitement of pulling a rare or higher!

I love these old school packs, I still have my japanese magician of black chaos common I got from my first pack as a kid. Went to the corner store near me and saw the packs. I was so hyped even though it wasnt a holo.

Best 250k opening, I liked this set because they are uncensored and have alternative art on a couple cards unlike the US/Canada
I'd have to say the hungry burger has gotta be one of my favorites from back then, such a goofy ass card but I played it in a few decks with my friends back then 😅

Love the old OCG packs. So hard to find and then gotta pray they open cleanly to preserve for the binder. 24 out of 27 preserved, that was impressive. Last warrior was a crazy pull. As always, great video!

Crazy to think these were all over in the UK.... we're roughly £3.50 a Pack.
Couldn't understand any of the text & we just played it like the Series....
Back then we wouldn't of known about split sets etc.
They were just easy to get hold of from local card shops & hobby shops
