I feel this on a deep level. Sometimes as a SAHM to 3 little kids you feel like you are doing nothing for the kingdom. I heard God whisper to me, bringing your children to know me IS my current assignment. Pour into where you are and do it to honor God. I needed that reminder.
Oh I resonate soooo much! I too have 3 littles and I quit my job almost a year ago to be a SAHW/M. I’ve said the exact same words you said. The lord told me to gone to them what He gives me. This has definitely been a transition, ups and downs because I tied my identity to my job but God is showing me who I really am in him and what’s most important in this season of my life. Marriage is not a destination but a gift just like All gifts when you unwrap them as soon as they are unwrapped you have to take care of them and you have to know where you place them so you don't lose them. As months go by the gift can still be in really good shape if it is treated right But as time goes along and years past the gift can get rusty and breakable you wonder how your grandparents can be married for 50 years it's because they treat each other and take care of each other all it takes is carelessness and playing with the gift foolishly for the gift to break so cherish your gift

The most important thing I learned about being married is to decide that it doesn't matter who is right. What matters is we have reached the right answer. Admitting you're wrong helps you figure out the right answer. Being the gracious person who is right is also important. You're a team. You solved the problem, THAT is important. Take a deep breath. Marriage is not a competition, it's hills and valleys but you're walking that path together.Don't hold grudges!!! There's only Fear and Love. Look at reason you're angry: fear will be at bottom. Tell your spouse [except picking up his dirty socks. I'm not afraid, they are just disgusting!😊]
I love what you said about commitment lacking in our lives, both with God and dating/marriage. Time to take our walk with God and our lives seriously! 👌💛

Omg !!!! This was sooo amazing!!!and something go’s has been working and teaching me in my life! My water broke at 28weeks and I have been in hospital since then .. at least 2 1/2 weeks and it was so hard!!! I felt so lonely but I found in little too the greatest peace from Jesus in my life.. our sweet baby girl came at 31 weeks and will be here till close to dec10... so we still have a long journey .. but yes he has comforted me and brought me more joy than I ever could have experienced had it gone the way we “planned” this message was amazing!!!! Thank u!!!
This has a happy ending. I lost twins at 3 months. Then another 6 months later. Couldn't get pregnant for 1 year. One day a neighbor who was kinda standoffish literally said over our fence, "I had the same problem."(Her kids were in college) She gave me a stern look and said, "I got a new doctor." Then she kinda nodded and moved away to finish raking her leaves. I followed her advice. Found down to earth Dr who said let's start at basics. I had an infection from miscarriages. I also spent that time learning how to 'relax' through the worry and pain bc that's really important too. I was pregnant in the next month. Then! I didn't want to have any tests bc we only wanted our baby. They forced me to have an emergency amnio. We went home, I cried and prayed and fell asleep. I dreamed of our son and his name as an adult heading to college. I'm crying as I write this bc he's an adult now. He looks like that boy who hugged me in my dream. AND!! At his first birthday we decided to start "trying" for a sibling. She is exactly 1 yr and 9 months younger than him. First month trying!! (((Hugs))) to everyone who's struggling. Let go of your fears and trust God. Don't forget. As strong as you want a baby/child, they aren't cuddly always, they become individuals. You are wishing for a person.

What I learned about jealousy it’s wasted energy and secondly and should be first it’s a sin to be jealous of somebody. And a lot of times when you get to know the person you’re jealous of or whatever the jealousy and you get to know that person and their situations you’d rather not be them or anything like them.
Gotta say this is one of my faves too, Sadie! Wondering if maybe you could share how you first encountered the living God and knew in your heart (not just your head) that he is real and alive in your spirit and this world! ❤️ would love to hear that part of your story as I have been wanting to encounter Him more tangibly in my life.
We are in this situation where there's lots of drama. Death in the family, new start at college; the college program might shut down because of COVID? It's music so they've been having to raise a lot of money to save it. The music program within itself has a lot of egos. And here's my freshman daughter in the middle of it all. Her head is spinning. I think she's trying to figure out where she fits into all this that has nothing really to do with her personally. I've tried to tell her that God has somewhere in the middle of this where she fits in. It's going to take a lot of time to figure it all out.
"Choose somebody to marry who you want to suffer with" When you feel jealousy that's the moment to step up and encourage them, to celebrate that person. That's breaks all the junk off of you. Jealousy limits you. When you celebrate others, their wins become your wins! Wow 👍

Fear, anger, anxiety, hatred, jealousy, and envy don't solve anything. It's like revving a car engine with the transmission in neutral. Lots of stress and noise, but no forward progress to implement a solution. All those emotions accomplish nothing productive whatsoever.
