Hooray!!! OMG Tomato I'm so glad you are getting a second opinion! I've never heard of someone not even meeting their surgeon before a procedure! That's crazy! Usually you get to meet and they go over everything and what to expect afterwards. Both my parents have had to have things done and it was very reassuring to know exactly what was going on and what recovery was to be like. Yes totally agree, I would not be going with anyone trying to steamroller you into surgery.

Playing WoL and SoL alone made me realize how much Tomato's voice acting adds to the enjoyment of those games. Am a big fan of HPL so I was psyched about this but it's only "ok" compared to WoL and Ch.2 drove me crazy with its map layout. Felt like the game got bigger but its UI wasn't updated to handle it.
I have a theory based on the lady suggesting that the player wear Murray’s clothes: The player IS Murray, but he lost his memory, and the letter was a signal to help start restoring it. That is why the letter is postmarked so old, and why the player character didn’t understand the young women in the diner. He thinks he is only a little older than them, but he is actually a lot older. He simply doesn’t remember aging for the last 13 or whatever years.

my father has a crippling spine disease (Something-or-other spondylitis) and he visited at least three doctors that had absolutely no idea what they were looking at, when he DID find one that knew what the fuck they were doing, it was already too late for his back, his spine is now permanently deformed and solidified at the vertebrae, he’s still alive and happy, but he cant lift any meaningful amount of weight without his spine compressing, and since his spine is now a solid bowed peice of bone, “Compressing” is more like “Shattering”. Long long story short, ask lots of doctors, ask ALL the fucking doctors, just to be safer than sorry, make sure you’ve gotten the same opinion like, five times over, from different professionals, cause apparently three isn’t enough.

Tomato is awesome as always, but this game is really boring compared to the western loathing. Too much limp dialogue that contains barely any jokes. Gameplay/classes are better but damn the dialogue is so dry and a chore to read through.
Kinda. First game was more action packed and was set in the wild west era, while the second game was set in a mystery/horror(?) setting with some H.P lovecraft kind of vibes so it kinda makes sense in a storytelling pov that there would be more dialogues so the players be immersed with the whole vibe this game is going for. Though the combat is bland in this one :/ Edit:typo
It's definitely darker. This should have everything I love but as I play the game I can't help but feel everything feels like chores and the quest tracker is not efficient.
