@@dustin66896 I’d probably do Laporta. Very few tight ends worth a ton and he’s one of them. Could then use an early round for a good receiver or RB

The problem for defenses is that Tyreek Hill is a VERY similar player in terms of speed and elusiveness. So they MUST roll coverage to Hill and allocate less to Achane or vice versa. one of them will be getting off.
Hope you're right. He's my flex. But their other RB scored a ton last year. Hopefully, they dont use him as much

Had him on my team last year and our league is a keeper league and I picked him up in free agency and how that works in my league is free agents that are kept for the following season you lose your 10th round pick, so I’m keeping him and losing my 10th I view that as crazy value

Fair enough but Mostert is more injury prone than Achane.
Achane was an absolute monster in his first three games with the biggest performance being mop up duty in a 70 point explosion against a defense that didnt even try. Once he came back from injury he was much more human in his last six games. One might also conclude teams knew to game plan for him.
Fair counter point. Even in the last stretch of games he still looked really good overall imo. Though he clearly wasn't the same
He scored 20+ points whenever he received 11+ touches before and after injury break.

Achane can gain the weight but the question is how much will the speed sufffer by weight gain. Even with a nutritionist, I won’t be able to gain weight fast and maintain his quickness at the same time. Sure he might be able to handle a little more workload but Forsure won’t be avging anything near 7.1. If he even took on 18-20 Carries and avg 5 ypc that would be more than amazing. At a brutal position and only 188 lbs, more workload just means an injury waiting to happen again. He will always have that 50/50 label on him as long as he stays that size
He already has gained like 10-20 lbs this off season

He won’t have a super large workload . They have 3 great running backs so they can distribute the workload but he will get more receptions based on the scheme . They are using him as an extra receiver this year.
If those receptions can supplement his carries that would be even better tbh

I wasn’t high on him until he fell to the late 2nd early 3rd. He has the most upside in that range BY FAR. I don’t trust Mostert to stay healthy at age 32 and I also trust McDaniels to scheme him up and no defense can focus on him when you have to stop tyreek and waddle. Barring an injury, which is possible, this dude can easily average 20 a game if he gets 10-12 Carries and 60-80 catches.

Mostert is 32 and has been injured most of his career. Achane EXPLODED last year and was a rookie. At the very least they will split carry. I have both of them though and ETN so I’m good!
Likely to stop… he’s old and the only reason he had all those TDs is because Kyle and Mike were competing for Most TDs with their RBs. The Niners moved on from Mostert to CMC and Mike wanted to prove Mostert was just as good. Mostert probably around 10 or 11 touchdowns this season

Predicting injuries is pretty much impossible. Plus he has no injury history so you just can't do it

I really like him though, he bulked up this year, is super fast, and only RB he has to worry about it 32 year old mostert who has a long injury history. It is a lot more likely that Mostert gets injured and Achane turns into a monster.

You really shouldnt bother looking at the Denver game. Theres plays where it was him vs. 3 defenders and no one even attampts a tackle. He is good but not gonna be that guy. Maybe Chris Johnson like in flashes but probably very hit or miss. I would love to play him vs. a bad defense though. Recipe for a big week tight there when the Dolphins are already up 20 and feed him all day
