Awesome to see you visit Ben's place! I've been following him for a while now. I'm in Sydney too and have been really getting into subtropical/tropical fruits over the past year starting with germinating seeds. I'm further east in a near-coastal microclimate (Zone 11a!) so don't even have frost and haven't gone below ~5C or so in winter the past few years. I have a hunch you could grow almost anything tropical in my area but unfortunately I'm in a situation where I can't/have limited ability to grow in-ground so everything is in pots for now. Ben is definitely a real inspiration for those of us in Sydney to show the limits of what you can grow!
