Why can’t I have friends like y’all?
Such a good video man! Hope you get to drive more at this track its sweet. Almost took out your rear quarter with how close that was keep up the great driving man looking forward to the next video
7:04 my girlfriend always has the greasy phone lens too. Every time I drop her off on the side of the road now it's "make sure your lens is clean" 😂😂. Awesome backies 👌
your driving skill is incredible
Gosh, don’t y’all know that us Mercian’s have a kmh to mph conversion deficit. Have a heart(:
Full sends in low power cars! Is always a good time
You know it'll be a good video when a K car is airborne in the first 10 seconds
As a swede i always feel joy seeing all the Volvo love from this channel. I dont even own a damn car.
got a 78 lancer/colt with a brand new 4g32 and 5 speed swap. planned on daily driving it and making it pretty. dude. thing slides left turns almost as clean as my ae86XD doesnt lock on right turns sadly.
i get that same hilarious feeling i got from my 83 wagon with b21f/t
lets go this what i like to see!
Fire on pistons!
Amazing video like everytime bro
Looks like playing a video game whipping it shit is sick
Just dropped an unspecified amount on a buncha merch! No one is gonna realize I’m affiliated with the Volvo Gang…
😳
Found a 1996 Volvo 850R WAGON with 110k miles for sale locally for $4500 obo. Body and interior are in good condition, engine is clean, but the owner claims it needs a “battery, thermostat, and all around tuneup” … Does this sound like a good buy? What should I look out for with these cars?
R wagon is always a good buy. Go for it seems to be taken care of!
@@eetukorhone aesthetically it’s taken care of, but it needs at minimum a new battery to start. Which leads me to believe the selling could be hiding some issues. Are these vehicles pricey to work on?
@@chris-gh4cd Well they aren't the cheapest cars to work on, but for sure much cheaper than many other cars. If you can do most of the maintenance yourself helps a lot! They are reliable, pretty easy to work on and its quite easy to find parts for them. 110k is low miles for a Volvo so there shouldn't be any big problems yet👍🏼 If you deside to go see it, take a battery with you and see if it starts and runs good and i think its fine!
DriftsnLifts can you leave a link to where you get your angle mods? I'm trying to build my 940 turbo for a winter drifter
I need to see that shit. I WANT A VIDEO!
@@ethanmilton8606 Haha see what?
Keep it up !
Oh shit that was awesome I thought at one point ☝️ it was going into the wall 🧱 hard 😳
How extended are your arms? Mine are kinda toasted so I was thinking about just making new ones myself. I've got all the gear to make jigs and such for it.
1.5 inch
Timing covers are important.
Always love the videos
good shit dude
insane driving!
Gods strongest canadian
Ur a mad man love it 🤣👍👍👍
Everything is cool, but I would recommend putting the car sideways with a hydraulic handbrake))))
hey man. i lost my old volvo drift sweater and i was wondering if i buy a new sweater could i pay extra to get another one of the old ones if you have any left your willing to part with?
Can we swap gas caps? Legitimate question
I'm Here!
Hi, What gearbox are you using (what ratios and rear diff) and what is your alignment like? Thank you?
Watch his other videos, ZF bmw gearbox
@@ghazik3656 Yeah i found that out but isnt there different zf boxes? with different ratios? Or just one... and the alignment im more interested in.... rear obviously solid axle but on the front
I think low power drift is more skilled.
Indeed it's true with burnouts also.
what trans do you have in the goldy? i have a auto b230 and am looking to manual swap it.
u should build another ute
what size rubbers would you recommend for daily on 15x8 wheel? sick channel! super awesome bricks!
I like a 205/50/15 up front and a 195/55/15 or 195/60/15 in the back. I buy new front tires and run scrappers in the back usually so 195/60/15 is common enough in the piles.
unrealll
where is this track
dont you ever snap an axel? i snapped 4 this week!!
and yes all of my bushings are poly
What tires are you using?
idk what engine u got but my b230f is real fucking good in my volvo 744gle :P u goto try the b230f with a diffrent top :D
"How much abuse can a volvo take?"
YES 3:02
You don’t need a ton of hp to drift. My buddy used to have a 85 celica gts. It was slow AF but fun as hell to drive and would drift good if you knew how to flick it and clutch kick
Thats sick but sad to see dents in that one lol
The Arabs have been "reverse" entering with Camry's at 200kph for 20+ years
Those dudes arent scared of dying
Want a tire to last longer ... re-tread it with truck treads, infinite drift tires for fun.
How do the truck tyres hold up to heat? I've found some "commercial grade" van tyres in a similar size to what I'm running and I want to give them a go - they should have a nice hard compound from my understanding but I'm unsure how they'll hold up to prolonged heat.
@@dicksandballsnshit3856 I don't test it myself yet, my car is not ready, but some dudes here have been using it as a cheap option for practice and fun ... some say its grip less with heat but a 205 R16 grip more than a normal 225 R17. It's last 3 to 4 times more than a normal tire, its a little heavier and sound like a truck sliding. ruclips.net/video/900Mfum3EBQ/видео.html
@@oX1jzed Cool man I think it's worth a try. I noticed from the video you posted the tyres didn't seem to be making much smoke - which is good because that means they're not just burning up when they get hot.
Thats not how babies are made though... nomi no
first?
heres some volvogravy for you
TOLLO
It needs a BMW engine
no
german cars in usa are no no, i m gonna tell you a little secret,we sent them bad cars
This is considered drifting? This would is becoming more of a joke
You need some more bottom end and higher tourqe
these old volvos dailyable?
Is'nt it time for you to upgrade . In the most Swedish way it is . A so called veemer . Is a Volvo bas with a bmw engine . B57 or b58
Does the ZF not have a 4th gear then?
I always like to see these N/A drifts, + how good is the tyre wear compared to turbo cars!
It does but i was being a pussy and didnt wanna go much faster into the entry. Its actually kinda tight back there when youre going fast !
Yeah mate I'm just trying to make a joke about you bashing the limiter for so long
@@driftsnlifts i just went to this track for the first time a bit ago. it sure is tight! you were absolutely sending it in there!
