It reminds me of the farmer who won the lottery. They pushed a microphone in his face and asked, "What are you going to do with all that money?" He smiled and said, "I'm going to keep farming until every last dollar is gone."
Thank you for posting this. The factory-farm system is unspeakably cruel. Animals are sentient creatures that feel physical and psychological pain. Pigs are highly intelligent, more so than many dogs (and many politicians). If people could see the way animals are raised, transported, and slaughtered, I think many would stop eating meat or just buy local, humanely-raised meat.
I know how it feels to be paying the price for one night, I was nearly murdered 7 years ago, acquired brain injury, hearing loss, thyroid removal from strangulation, etc etc ….. it’s frustrating, when you constantly can’t do things u could, when the person who did this is walking free like nothing happened
The ♥ issue was hard,I lost my husband Oct. 23 to lack heart function. He had 5 ♥ attacks his function was 12 to 15%,He had ICD & it started going off due to afib within 24 hrs he was gone. His name was also Stephen.
The surgeons did a good job on the man’s hand. It will look better, as it heals. I speak from a loss of part of my fingers and hand. Best wishes to him!
Poor Steven, what a horrible thing to happen. It truly seems like” no good deed goes unpunished.” Despite all he’s been through, he seems like such a lovely, thoughtful man. I truly wish him well!
@@river8760I agree. It’s because they care & like him, take action, that they put themselves in harm’s way. Now he’s paying with a lifetime of anxiety & suffering, all from the one simple act of kindness. Life can be deeply unfair.
So many traumas are the result of violence committed by young--and sometimes older--men. Testosterone might have served an evolutionary purpose way back when, but now it's a real liability. Science would do us all a favour if it could find a way to tweak this hormone without simultaneously creating an epidemic of impotence . . . . .
Every one of these episodes reminds me to be careful. Just an instant's inattention or a minor misjudgment can be disastrous. I know I'm as prone to them as anyone. 😢
I had a major heart attack at 53 and instead of fear, I told myself I will not die a second sooner than God intends it and that second will be the best time as it's God's time. I take my medication diligently and live live to the fullest. Tiredness at times can get frustrating, but I take power naps. Betablockers cause a slow heart rate, but it improves heart health.
I didn’t like Steven’s girlfriend, she doesn’t seem like person in love for some reason …I don’t think they will be together long as a couple . I wish him health and life a long life 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

“Incompatible with life”, such a chilling phrase
We need more farmers that care for the environment and the livestock that give their lives for food, etc. stop factory farming, buy locally!

I am sorry 😞 that person didn’t pay for it but God will do justice.

Love the Farmer Dad, he’s great. 😀

Mom always said to wear clean underwear when going out. That thought goes through my head when seeing these poor souls. Bless them all.
Mine did too....😂😂

The best, most empathetic people tend to go through the worst things, generally speaking. 😢

@@renb6133Life is unfair for sure. I’d never for one second give up being empathetic and compassionate though, it’s who I am. I doubt he would either.

I love the farmer's socks. Knitted kevlar!
So sad for Steven, but he’s a very strong man for his family. Glad Tony is ok

It's almost what happened to me, but it was my right hand, ad I had more damages
Love this programme. Keep them coming 🇨🇦 Thanks 🌿
Amazing, the human condition and what modern medicine can accomplish. Here's hoping each ultimately had a favorable outcome.
Why does mark the farmer remind me of Bruce Springsteen??😂
Their eyes are similar.
He really does resemble him!
The medical side of these events is mind bogling but the family dynamics thrills me to no end.....keep those you love close and your foes far away!
God help this man I send him every wish in the universe to help him recovering 😢

At 30:30, the term for a sawblade's width of material removed is "kerf"

My friend cut his hand in a similar way a few months ago. It wasn't quite that bad though and he's recovering well.

13:06 what does “soja” mean? Other than a soybean? I can’t find anything on the word lol
I think he said “sod ya”. Kind of like “fuck you”, only funnier.
Does the farmer want a wife? Asking for a friend 😅
Next time you badmouth farmers, don’t talk with your mouth full!
😂
