I love how uplifting and encouraging the trailer is - the "don't be afraid" theme is a stark contrast to how many rollercoasters are described in terms of their intensity, even if this one is going to be a UK record-holder. Looking forward to it!

@@ThorpeParkOfficial Reminds me of when John Wardley said that, if Nemesis and Oblivion were designed to be villains, Air was designed to be a hero! Of course, that's Alton Towers, but I guess you could say that if Swarm and Saw were designed to be villains, Hyperia is a hero. Nemesis Inferno and Colossus take you on an adventure, and Stealth is just a fun time!

I would guess it's uplifting because a lot of your average theme park goers (i.e. People that only go to a theme park every few years or less) still remember the smiler incident. For a lot of people, that incident really damaged their trust in theme parks. Yes I realise it was human error but it is humans that are in charge of the rides.
Anyway this coaster does look cool and I'd like to ride it in future

i LOVE the way they are marketing this, so often parks try to sell their new rides as the most terrifying thing on earth, but thorpe park is going the exact opposite direction with this. this is genuinely giving me chills

I remember when Stealth first came out. My friends and I had to wait 2hrs as the ride kept having issues. And there was this lady on the ride who was screaming to get off and we all watched from the queue as she was shot off into the air and all you could hear was her scream. Magnificient.

It is funny how the volume of the scream quickly vanishes and comes back very faint until it is loud again when the ride is coming to an end. This builds up the hype so badly while waiting to get on it 😂😂

It’s quite a short layout but I think the elements,the theming AND that first drop will make this ride so good
That's what Thorpe park dose best good coaster short lay out to make the que quicker wish it was longer
@@harrynewnham6410not necessarily :) you can have shorter queues with a longer layout, it just needs more blocks
@@harrynewnham6410layout length only effects capacity of you run 1 train. A long layout with multiple block sections and trains has the highest capacity

We were right about the mythology theming!! Hyperia is the name of the daughter of the Greek River God Inachus and roughly means “land above” it’s got heavenly connotations. Thrilled with the theming and can’t wait to ride, got so many chills from this

I love the vibe that this takes. Looks like it’s just gonna be joyous from start to finish with the theme. Some on board audio would be insane if it’s possible. And the way you’ve profiles some of the elements is perfect, lots of airtime and positives. This looks so fun!
I really like the more positive uplifting theme. Really refreshing compared to the horror / dystopian themes that have become common. Reminds me a bit of the Colossus theme actually which I love. The first drop and other elements look great too. It’s just a shame that this is looking like the Swarm and Saw in being a potentially epic coaster that’s let down by being too short. That’s a pretty big trim brake in the trench. The ride length can make otherwise great rides feel underwhelming. Hopefully it feels long enough when we get to ride it.
Ive been getting into rollercoasters and theme parks in general and I love looking at videos about them, and I was hugely excited for project Exodus and Im loving the name Hyperia! I cant wait to ride this record breaking ride next year, I'll be there

I LOVE THE DON'T BE AFRAID THEME!!!! It adds so much hope, so much majesty and just feels so much lighter. I for one welcome Hyperia to the lineup!
I really can't wait to ride. This looks so frustratingly close to perfection, if only there was another little lap of the lake close to the ground to enjoy all that speed. Still, you can never judge a ride until you have ridden and I'm very lucky to have this coming less than an hour away from me.

@@deadaccount2048 2 feet isn't enough... BPB use the 'height above sea level' when they claim it's 235 feet, which is not the way coasters are measured. Ron Toomer of Arrow (who built the coaster) confirmed that it stands at 213 ft, with a drop of just 205 ft.
They'd have to add 24 ft to beat Hyperia.
As a side note, they also claim that the ride's speed is 87mph when Ron Toomer has confirmed that the design speed was 74mph.
I personally dont think any coasters soundtrack can beat icon’s. But THIS. This is close competition. Showing just how good this is

I LOVE the theme of this ride - it’s got such a unique theme to it. I cant wait to hear the music blasting inside the station and watching it from the queue, I cant even wait to see it from the road on the drive in!

As much as I love the darker themes at Alton and Thorpe, the divine almost euphoric theme and tone this ride gives is a rly cool change of pace, cannot wait to ride this next year

I think it's a name reveal cuz if u look at the apps map, they removed the exodus bit in the corner...... also it could b a theme reveal cuz I've noticed over the past weeks, the POV after the qr code has been removed ( from what I think, it's cuz of the blue unofficial colours on the pov)
