Hangsheng Night Market is a bustling market near the outskirts of Liuzhou city. "Hangsheng" translates to "airport" in English because this area used to be an airport. During World War II, the American Flying Tigers were stationed here, and the locals are very grateful for this part of their history.It is home to a large number of grassroots citizens who primarily work in basic service industries or as manufacturing workers, drivers, and salespeople. The night market consists of two main parts: a street next to Wanda Plaza that serves the public with small vendor stalls, and an adjacent area with a long-standing history known as "Congee Street" by the locals, famous for its delicious seafood congee. Of course, it also offers a variety of barbecues and snacks.
