    As an architect (retired) and former owner of a Design-Build contracting company I want to commend you for a build that was done professionally, of high quality materials, and better than I've seen most contractors accomplish with large 'experienced' crews. I'd grade your design a 10; your execution a 10; your attention to detail a 10; and your dancing to the spirit that moved you, a 100!
    Yowsa!

    Here's what I especially appreciate about this video: The music is constantly changing, which tells me it wasn't a quick process. People watch these RUclips "tutorials," here one string of music and think that it actually isn't as complicated as they think. IT IS! These types of constructions take a lot of time and sweat. Great video.

    • @gnarbeljo8980

      Sorry but that's bc there's only a specific number of seconds or beats rather, of any copyrighted (known) music track you can dare to use in a vlog or video without being immediately sued for copyright infringement if you can't afford to pay royalties or have written permission by the copyright owner (label or artist or both) This is a consistent choice Hannah makes for all her vlogs rather than other youtubers who subscribe to online libraries of thousands of copyright- free original tracks made for filmmakers, media companies, marketers and broadcasters. They allow you to use entire tracks of all kinds of music in their stock, by single purchase or subscription including use of x amount of tracks per month.
      If you chose to use poptunes by famous contemporary recording artists, you are always taking a wild chance as there isn't a definite legal right to play any of it. There's however a common misconception (myth) that you are allowed to play 30 seconds, ehich frequently gets people in real trouble. The definition of "fair use" as it's called by lawmakers has many parameters. Hannah's choice means she has to literally cut the tracks, that's including tracks played irl she's listening to in thr video, not just music added in post production.
      Personally I find all the tracks cut to soundbites end to end really distracting and annoying, but it's her content and her risktaking, and being true to yourself is what YT is about so definately not my business. I do find it interesting that you interpreted this the way you did though. It wouldn't have occured to me people don't understand this, and that vloggers almost always add music only in post production and if filming a situation with music playing (on the radio, a device, a live performance) they absolutely MUST cut the sound at 30 sec to have a chance at not losing a law suit.
      All the big record labels have programs they run on that identifies music, names of artists, composers and related words to detect unlawful use, copying, and sharing all the time which is why "content unavailable" banners show up alot, especially if seraching for music. That goes for film and tv productions too. Only there's the exception of so called "reaction videos" critique/reviews and educational purposes in video, filmclips and music. What's legal is sharing the copyright holders official music videos and filmclips from their channels.

    • @jksatte
      @jksatte 2 года назад

      I didn't think about that with the music but you are absolutely right. It is quite the process.

    Great stuff and also the lupins in the garden are excellent. I recently started wearing a ventilator mask while working with cement mixes at work, as many contains silica dust which when a person experiences multiple inhalation overexposures over the course of six months it can lead to a fatal lung condition. Just wanted to pass on the safety tip.

    When you do the next footing simply put a long bolt into the concrete while it's still wet. (Wrap it with tape to keep the threads clean) Then when you want to attach the post base just set it over the bolt and lock it down with a nut.

    You said your house isn’t lvl, and it made me think of one restoration show episode, where they talked about trees affecting the house, more specifically roots destroying the base of the house, since they lift up the ground under the house. So it makes me wonder is there maybe a trouble with the tree right beside your cabin? Maybe there’s another reason for your house tilting a bit, but i couldn’t walk past not mentioning it to you, in case that information will help in any way!

    • @Galemor1
      @Galemor1 2 года назад

      Her house is a little lifted from the ground I think, so the tilting is probably from lack of either measure it when building, or just part of the blocks sinking with the foundation (just put on top of the dirt)

    Hannah it’s so good that you include the f-ups. Last year I was doing a really hard (for me) bathroom project by myself after the guy I hired to do it ran off with my deposit and left it undone. I would put your videos on my phone and prop it up on the toilet so I could a) feel I had company and b) see you mess things up as I was messing up CONSTANTLY and keep going anyway. It helped me so much - thank you. x

    I love the juxtaposition of how “feminine”
    Hannah dresses and comes across but how “masculine” her lifestyle is and the fact she has equal parts of both perfectly simultaneous feminine and masculine energy at the same time. I really aspire to be so comfortable with myself like that and look up to her a lot for it! 💕
