you prolly dont care but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
I got one of these and has been collecting dust. After seeing this video today, I took it out of storage. Tired seems to be completely destroyed and rods are rusted. Time for upgrade to brushless and take it out for a spin. Thanks guys for a great video ❤️
Growing up I had the Tamiya grass hopper a close friend had the frog and hotshot my grass hopper was the only toy I kept. 30 years later and 60$ it lives again it got me back Into the hobby. Out of all the tamiya vintage buggies the wild one was and still is my favorite.
In the 90's I was racing an rc10 gold tub with a 6 gear transmission. The center plate was tweaked (for better gear alignment) and the out drive gears were grooved and drilled! Everyone was running 2.2 buggy wheels and tires in a soft compound. We ran on a clay/sand mix and actually had a "blue groove" that you could see on the track. 6 cell 7.2v nicad and 27 turn stock motors.
Wow, thanks for this video! I have my vintage kyosho here, I was thinking to go brushless on it but after seeing your vid I see the re-release include a slipper. Thanks for not letting me shred some old driveline.
This video is actually really entertaining. I really like your enthusiasm and love for these little buggies. I have also a Turbo Scorpion but had only 1h or so runtime on it because since my esc (cheap chinese btw :D) got vaporised by flames I did not took it out for a while now. Might give it another try thanks to this video! Have a nice weekend!
@@GCMRacing1 Thanks to your video I did a few Scorpion Videos myself. I would be honored if you have a look at my channel! Don't wanna be pushy, just sharing and contributing!
Love the old Bashers, I'm currently working on a Raco roadrunner quarter scale, pick it up from an older gentleman for a hundred twenty five bucks and the thing runs and drives
I find the old buggies more interesting than the new ones because they were at a point they were all trying different things. You get to see what different configurations do. The new ones are just all kind of the same to me.
Looks like it's time for you guys to get the Optima and Javelin re-releases (if you haven't already). FYI, they both come with chain or belt drive options.
The Turbo Scorpion has hex mount rims, and the same body space.. but there's lots of room in there for the ESC... I have a brushless ESC in mine with a huge fan on top, and it's still got space around it. The buggies with the friction fit rear rims still don't strip out the wheels, they are rock solid reliable.
Sorry for the rant. lol I'm just saying if I'm laying down that type of money for an rc it's got to be something that you don't use once & put away. Just my opinion. But those buggies with the metal chassis & parts it's not horrible lol
The Mad Crusher is chain driven. Just looking up some Kyosho stuff & it is on the higher priced side for what you get. I haven't heard that much talk either good or bad so I don't know how their quality is either. But even that surfer rc is 229.00. To me that thing isn't worth 50. 00. It's such a useless rc it's like some novelty toy you'd find at Walmart. If I'm spending 230.00 on a rc it's gonna be something usable in more situations than a surfer.
at 49 years old, I grew up with all of these, and still love them all. The vintage Kyosho stuff is awesome.

This is so great! Yeah! Revive them kindly and use them wisely! They are old after all! hahahah
I still have my original RC10. It works, trinity gold motor i think.
Fantastic video. Always really interesting. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Remember the 1985 AYK 4×4 Viper? That buggy looked badass.
Ohhh I had forgotten about that one!

You convinced me I just purchased one!!!! Your bad men!!!!
Turbo Scorpion is thee best looking RC buggy ever, period.

Yeah, the slipper is basically locked.. but for all we know its slipping sometimes. Can't tell. They sure do run hard with brushless!

😊👍Nice buggies I love my scorpion!...got to give props to that beauty buggy in the background on the trailer!
Yes, buggies rule guys! A buggy gives you more smiles per mile than any other car... ;-)
Awesome! My second RC ever was a Kyosho optma Mid. Miss it.
Great buggies and fantastic video fellas 😁😊😁
Those are sick!!

Wow, so true! Each one with a very different design. Kyosho on aluminum square rails, Tamiya on tubs, Cats on a flat chassis, very true!
I was looking for a Scorpion after watching one of your older videos ended buying a rerelease rc10 but man still want one!
Awesome buggies guys
I keep staring at these at my LHS. Looks like it’s time to pick one up.
guys can we see the battery and esc set ups in these please ... what lipos you are running etc ?? thanks

Love me the Javelin!
you may like the kyosho outlaw rampage pro
Yeah! Sure do!
"Am I the oldest? Aghhhh. That's why I need to wear a hat." LMAO!!!!!!
I have been considering one of theese. But the friction fit back tires, and the small space for an esc has put me off.

Nice driving, dudes. L M M F A O!

Cheers
What's the make on the buggy on the trailer behind you guys it's red?
Josh Ritter looks like a tamiya wild one
Josh that is a Tamiya Wild One!
Thank you I appreciate it 👍

I think u guys should make a scale buggy of some sort it would be a hit for sure
Calling out Kirby. In vintage circles everybody knows him.
Sure do!

These are true 1/10 scale, Traxxas, Axial, Vaterra are 1/9 to 1/8.5 scale. Only tamiya and kyosho follow true scale.
