- Russian vocabulary in use is here again:) Today I will show you a typical playground for kids in Moscow. It is located in the Park Fili right next to my house. This is where we spend a lot of time with my son Roman.

Нет, э́та де́тская площа́дка нахо́дится в Москве́, в па́рке Фи́ли. Э́то го́рка. Го́рка си́няя. Э́та го́рка кра́сная? Нет, э́та го́рка си́няя. На го́рке ката́ются де́ти. Э́то то́же го́рка. Ро́ма ката́ется с го́рки. Ве́село? Ве́село. Поня́тно. Ка́ждая го́рка расска́зывает о ра́зных стра́нах. Здесь Че́хия. Здесь Аме́рика, США. Хорва́тия. Э́то Росси́я, Москва́. Ещё Москва́. А вон там, кста́ти, внутри́ Росси́я. А здесь Ту́рция и Фра́нция. В песо́чнице.
Э́то песо́чница. Был дождь, поэ́тому песо́чница гря́зная. Песо́чница сейча́с чи́стая? Нет, песо́чница гря́зная, к сожале́нию. Внутри́ песочницы - песо́к. Здесь ка́мни? Нет, здесь песо́к. Внутри́ э́той песо́чницы песо́к. А э́то называ́ется каче́ли. Ро́ма кача́ется на каче́лях. Дава́й я тебя́ покача́ю. Я и сам могу́. Па́па меня́ научи́л. Что де́лает Ро́ма? Ро́ма кача́ется на каче́лях. На чём кача́ется Ро́ма? На каче́лях. Ро́ма кача́ется на каче́лях, а малы́ш бе́гает.
Э́то карусе́ль. Де́ти ката́ются на карусе́ли. Э́то Ро́ма, а э́то малы́ш. Осторо́жно! Э́то каче́ли? Нет, э́то карусе́ль. Есть ещё карусе́ль для на коля́сках. Сюда́ мо́жно зае́хать поката́ться. И есть каче́ли для дете́й с ограни́ченными возмо́жностями. Сейча́с покажу́, здесь специа́льный па́ндус, и мо́жно бу́дет кача́ться. А э́то площа́дка для малыше́й, для ма́леньких дете́й. Э́то площа́дка для взро́слых? Нет, э́то площа́дка для дете́й. Здесь всё ма́ленькое. Здесь всё большо́е? Нет, здесь всё ма́ленькое. Ма́ленькая го́рка, ма́ленькие каче́ли. Всё для малыше́й. Что тако́е? Что случи́лось? Голова́ закружи́лась? Поня́тно. А э́то скаме́йка. Э́то стул? Нет, э́то скаме́йка. Де́ти игра́ют, а взро́слые сидя́т на скаме́йке. Взро́слые сидя́т на кре́сле? Нет, взро́слые сидя́т на скаме́йке.

I really see what you mean Daria! I think a person would capture so much more, ( learning the subtleties ) if he or she were put into the discussion or conversation in the language! For me it's going to be about the word endings...one can not just memorize single words in Russian and then just group them together! Thank you for the Lesson, your friend Ethan!

@@RealRussianClub Вот это здорово очень, можно в городе погулять по настоящему лесу, отстраниться от всего этого шума... Помню, когда была в Москве, меня это очень впечатлило. У нас и так парков мало, так ещё и деревца там такие куцие 😄 Равнина, блин! Кустики одни))) Даже за городом до леса не доберешься...

@@RussianMermaid Этим летом впервые (так уж случилось) побывал в Москве и был поражен контрастом: в одном месте находишься - вокруг суета большого города, все спешат, но стоит пройти минут пять пешком и сразу вокруг деревья, тишина и умиротворенность. Я останавливался в отеле около метро Ботанический Сад и там было именно такое место.

Wow! What a nice park! In the USA, I have never seen a playground with equipment for handicapped people! Is this normal at most parks in Russia?
Also, I like how there are pictures of places in different countries. The only educational things I've seen in parks here are just 1,2,3, & A,B,C, etc. (Very simple things). Is this also normal in Russia?
I have a question: What's the difference between 'на горке' & 'с горки'? Is it 'с горки' because Roma was sliding down the slide at that moment & 'на горке' because children were on the slide meaning 'on the structure'?
I'd say it's all normal for Moscow :) The rest of Russia is just going in this direction:)
@@RealRussianClub Here in Volgograd in some parks we have similar playgrounds (in other design but by the similar concept). My daughter knows locations each of them)) In small town Urupinsk in the Volgograd area i've seen really big play zone in central part (in was build with welfare fund participation)

That merry-go-round reminded me of an old Bill Cosby stand up comedy routine he did way back in the 1960's. I know he is scorned now but it is still funny when I think about it. He talks of his friends getting pushed around on that thing until they threw up.

That was great. My first language ist German. I hear the russian words translated to english. Then i translate to German. Thats crazy 😄👍
My first language is English, but I studied German before Russian, and now my brain wants to treat Russian like German and kick verbs to the end...

In dictionaries the swing and the teeter-totter have the same russisn translation. Isn't there a russian word ?

Thanks. One idea for “vocab in use” is about cars: Car needs gas. Tires need air or flat tire. Change the oil, other common problems. Battery dead needs a charge or jump start
