Madoka appears naive at times, but as a magical girl she's incredibly perceptive, it's scary almost (I think, just maybe, as a magical girl she's constantly focussing on the 'souls' of the others around her, or something like that, so she can quickly tell when things go wrong. just spec.)

@@santiagoaguilar2136 Because Sayaka would have failed to connect with Mami, just like Yachiyo initially did with Tsuruno. Mami would have ended up broken as well.
Okay. But can we talk about the trope subversion of the "breaking mind control with the power of friendship by the person who knows them the most" to it failing because no, actually, you _don't_ know your friend as well as you think you do.
Yeah, you don't really know someone, even if there your friends, people got some secrets...poor tsuruno here
i haven't watched this series but what stuck with me was "please go back to your old self" often there is no going back to an old self, sometimes i wish i could go back to being the child who felt genuine joy and excitement, but it's so long gone that it seems almost incomprehensible to me now
@@kai_fatallysapphic in context, the one they are saving is a very cheerful person and calling herself the "strongest" magical girl. But it turns out she is just putting out a front because she became really depressed. She blames herself for not being there when one of her friends got turned into a witch and died. She also felt left behind when her friends veered of their own paths (one become a trainer for younger magical girls, one became a college student and start working alone as a magical girl, one joined a very shady cult). It hurts more when the one who's trying to save her is the one who made her felt that way even though she doesn't hate her

Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed. I like Tsuruno, but PMMM made us used to deaths and trauma and TRAUMA and DEATHS 😂

The the original Madoka series taught us that whatchappens to the body is pretty much irellevant as lobg as the soul gem is ok.
Seeing Tsuruno get broken and twisted physically was deeply disturbing as I quite like her and don't want to see Tsuruno be treated so horribly by the rumour.
I'm sorry Touka but you need someone to slap you in the face and verbally chew you out before giving you a good spanking to knock some sense into you. I'd like Yachiyo to be that person.
As for Alina, for negatively influencing Touka to pull stunts like this, she deserves a good asskicking and to have all her artwork burned in front of her as punishment for her crimes including corrupting cute lolis such as Touka and Nemu.

They cannot die like humans, only if their soul gem is broken. Even if their soul gem hatched, they’ll still be alive (in pain)

Gosh, this series had incredible animation during battle scenes. The Madoka, Homura and Sayaka vs Patricia battle? Holy Mami vs Sayaka? *Chef's kiss*
This was HORRIFYING
The last scene where Tsuruno says I’m the strongest reminds me of a lil’ fan fiction I wrote about Tsuruno and Felicia.
Felicia catches Tsuruno singing about how she’s the strongest while delivering food, and then she (Felicia) asks if she can sing with her.
I never finished it, but where I left off, they were singing about being the strongest…

They brought the magia girl worlds together .... Is this a special or part of the series other than madoka magica?
This is from Magia Record, a spin off series which went along with a now gone gacha game. It primarily focuses on characters other than those from Madoka Magica, in another city, where the curse of becoming a witch has been broken, but other twisted dangers lurk. You could also easily assume that this is one of the many timelines Homura experienced and then abandoned to try again. The original quintet do all appear in the later parts of the show.
It’s not as good as Madoka Magica. But it is good and enjoyable and the twisted tale it weaves expands on the horror of being a magical girl and the cost of wishes

Puella Magi Magica Record it’s similar to Puella Magi Madoka Magica but it’s not tho but they did have Madoka,Sayaka,Mami,and Homura appear witch is really dope
MAGIA record which is a side story of Puella magi madoka magica, there’s also Puella magi Oriko Magica, Puella magi tart Magica and one more but I forgot. First two have in series and rest are still in manga only hopefully after MAGIA record or in MAGIA record they can include it
