This rap duet between JK and Hobi is so ICONIC, and there is good reasons for that. I agree with you, that's definetly one of my favorite parts of their whole discography, if not my favorite. I could listen to it, non stop, and I hope we will have a duet between those two one day, I mean perfect sub-rapper/sub-vocalist harmony, they are the two all-rounders of the group, I already love so much to see them dance together also !

I love it when they dance together too. I thought I was the only one. They both have this popping style they’re good at, and when they do it in sync, it’s magical.

I do love the extra bonus of Hobi sometimes singing or JK sometimes rapping in some of their songs. When listening to their albums, those parts are among my favorites
@@barbarakuofie5649 I'd like to see more of Jimin+JHope poppin'/hip-hop together, they both did that for years before BTS (+before Jimin did contemp.for 1.5-2yrs). JK said he wished he could freestyle like Jimin + JHope, tho he's pretty good.

I'll take a stab and say I think Jimin was going up to an F5 or so in Pied Piper... I'm a soprano, and it's kind of high for me!

That harmony part at the end of Wings between Hobi and JK isn't actually on the original track on the album. They add it to the end of the song when they perform it on tours. But I swear to god this is why I always love your videos because you ALWAYS pick up on the exact same stuff I get obsessed with that no one else seems to. I literally go hunting (regularly) for Wings performances from the love yourself tour JUST to watch that 5 seconds of harmony between those two because the sound they make together is unreal 😍

you’re so right about the point on BTS rappers majoring in melodic rap. In fact, not many korean rappers does this. I actually first fell in love with them because of their melodic rapping, I’m not a rap person on the whole but they rly convinced me

I mean, of course Yoongi could that last song, Telepathy, cos he wrote it! Although he's been heard to complain that they moved to higher key for the final cut. And the vocal line also laughs at his guide for the song. But that is still one of my faves!

Honestly i really like what you said about Jk ... I find myself sometimes not to give the recognition he deserves for the same reasons as you .. we need to appreciate him more! He is just amazing.
I'm really happy to hear the praise for JK. I think you're spot on that he gets "overlooked" because of course he's incredible, but that's the thing -- *he is always incredible* -- he's the pillar of the vocal line, he does the ad libs, he can fill in for literally any other member, his voice is versatile, stable, and clean. That's why he's the main vocalist. His tone isn't as unique as V's or Jimin's nor as emotionally "punchy" as Jin's, but I think it's needed the most in any given performance. He's the rock and it's a beautiful rock.

jungkook is the most consistent singer that i have ever heard. he is super versatile too, as you said, the perfect mainstream pop singer voice that can just match with any song and vibe you want it too. moreover, as you said, that's why he often doesn't get as many of the compliments. because he has so many parts, and, of course, they always do and are expected to sound great.

Same. love them in this environments. You get to listen their amazing vices. This medley is fantastic. It is one of my favorite performances. That harmonizing with JHope and JK is legendary. And watching performing their UGH song all dressed like little boys is something my brain doesn´t get at all. V was joking doing a funny voice like a presenter. He was saying something like: "OK, Now, the best rapper in the world, let´s go" (SUGA) hahaha.

I love to see how they really show their vocal power and strengths especially to people who are new to them. The songs they bring are completely different from one another. Again, this is not a KPOP genre but a BTS genre. I Love Festa, but I Love BTS more!
