GT is great I loved it if only it was after super but before super heroes like If it was in the 2018-2021 year basically it being in the late 2000’s and not the 90’s

GT goes in one direction, and Super goes another. So yeah, don't feel like GT isn't valid or is just "fanon" like some people call it. It's not.

I completely adore GT’s version of Vegeta. I understand why Super has him the way he is in order to maintain the rivalry stuff with Goku, but GT Vegeta is the perfect conclusion to his story. He sees Goku as a friend that he is totally confident in. It’s a natural evolution of Z’s ending where Vegeta recognized Goku as number 1. Vegeta still has some pride, but his patience and humility just elevates his character so much in the end.

You might forget how poorly written the first couple sagas were. I loved gt because it brought some of the most stupid op villains that I loved to play as in the budokai tenkaichi series, but the reality is gt had more filler than Naruto and bearly a couple hours of actual fight time if you stitched it all together.

*For people who don't know:* Goku actually died against Omega Shenron and when he get back to throw a universal spirit bomb at him he was already dead, Omega even tried to hurt himwith some attacks but they didn't work. Then after this Goku dissapear with Shenron and became one with the dragon balls to come back after 100 years to realise Goku Jr's wish to save Grandma Pan's life
The god dang goosebumps... This hits harder than any anime, mainly because I grew up as a kid watching dragon ball z on cartoon network. I'm 30 now. Amazing stuff. It taught me so much, it's surprising
I feel like Goku should’ve received more global recognition for what he has done. Earth in general seems to be the worst informed planet in all of the 9 universes. They don’t need to worship the z fighters for their sacrifices but should know what is going on at the very least.
Well he does have a statue at the world martial arts tournament post GT. Whether that's just as a legendary great of the tourney or if people did learn some of his heroics is hard to say. There were some 'regular' people who knew of some of their heroics. King Furry, for one, knew Goku saved the world against Piccolo. The tournament announcer suspected that Goku and co were the ones that beat Cell, etc. Maybe some of that stuff got more public as time went on.
There are no words to explain how deep a mark DB has left on 90s culture and children across the planet. Truly a benchmark in historical story telling, drama and action.
Sssj4 Baby Vegeta Omega The ending Literally carried GT and gave it all it's value For Goku to fight corrupted dragonballs and end the power of the dragonballs while being given eternal life is literally perfect
As sad as this was, seeing krillen as an old man and even pan as a grandma was worse. It really pushed the narrative that everything comes to an end eventually 😢
And to think this was supposed to be the original ending to Dragon Ball as a whole, Everyone has seen DB at one point and has grown attached to Goku and his friends, and to see it all end is sad, but everything ends at some point. One day we will have to be faced with the real ending of Dragon Ball, which means we won't get anything more from them, this is the ending we didn't deserve, but it is an ending that will prepare us for the True Ending of it all. Dragon Ball will always live in our hearts, as a part of our childhood, our lives.

Honestly the concept dragon ball gt had was really amazing, i really liked the idea of the dragon ball corrupting because we’ve got people using them for pizza delivery at this point, kinda gave more meaning back to them again.

I legitimately don't give a f**k about what anyone tells me. Dbgt was the ending for me. Super feels repetitive, they're ruining the show by using form after form with ultimately no significance; Using reused designs and just changing colors, Rushing characters leaving them bland and uninteresting, and reusing arc concepts over and over. Gt was slow at the start yes, and the super 17 arc was bad yes, but even from the beginning slower arcs to the ending villains....it felt like dbz. Through and Through. No horrible misrepresentations, no horrible redesigns. And this ending made me cry so hard as a kid. Gt is something I will never forget. Not that I'd want too.
It felt like the perfect blend of OG and Z. And Super fills one role, to sell merchandise. Super may have the spectical and fights almost every episode, but it doesn't have heart. Goku isn't Goku in Super, Vegeta isn't the Vegeta we came to love, GT is the only true ending.

Super is DB. It's more dragon ball the gt ever was. Gt was made by people who didn't really get what toriyamas dragon ball was all about so they missed alot of stuff. The adventure is non existent and worse for exsisting then not. The arcs are all bad minus baby because they don't get what made dragon ball work and what is currently making super work. You can feel how you feel, but don't use love for once series as fuel to hate another. Goku and Vegeta are going on actual character arcs, same with The boys and Gohan. Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks and Goten have more relevance then they have ever had in Gt and get to actually do stuff on there own instead of get embarrassed. Gt didn't do everything right at all, and we are currently seeing Goku and Vegeta grow into the men they are on Gt instead of just being shown them.

I've got a few more that i can't really chose over the others but yes this is absolutely one of them .
I can tell that the narrator is holding his tears of Goku’s heroic sacrifice in Dragon Ball GT because I would too.

As sad as this was, seeing krillen as an old man and even pan as a grandma was worse. It really pushed the narrative that everything comes to an end eventually 😢
And to think this was supposed to be the original ending to Dragon Ball as a whole, Everyone has seen DB at one point and has grown attached to Goku and his friends, and to see it all end is sad, but everything ends at some point. One day we will have to be faced with the real ending of Dragon Ball, which means we won't get anything more from them, this is the ending we didn't deserve, but it is an ending that will prepare us for the True Ending of it all. Dragon Ball will always live in our hearts, as a part of our childhood, our lives.
If dragon ball ever officially ends i might actually shed some real tears if it ends with goku going away like they did with this cause he just leaves his whole family behind to keep them safe its honestly a really good but really sad wnding if you understand the sacrifice he makes

Its fanbase won't allow it to die gracefully. Plus they can still make money off all of it.
@@Firan25 Been that way, since the original db. Akira Toriyama wanted to end it so many times but db was too too popular for it. If it ended it should've ended at Z, or even GT. But now I don't want it to end, I've grown to attached 😕

Not exactly the way the original author meant for Goku to be portrayed, he mostly just genuinely wanted to fight a stronger opponent, iirc.
DB GT was very nostalgic and the ending gave me goosebumps
When I saw this episode I really thought that we will never see him again in new episode I thought it was the end and when he said "till we meet again"it just broke my heart😢
When that last episode aired, and Goku said goodbye, I honestly had and Still get tears in my eyes.
It's a weird story, but a very very enjoyable one
" love never dies it grows stronger, evil doesn't make you truth it only takes away life and love Goku and Vegeta showed me the points.

Honestly the concept dragon ball gt had was really amazing, i really liked the idea of the dragon ball corrupting because we’ve got people using them for pizza delivery at this point, kinda gave more meaning back to them again.

It is canon though, theres a timeline of Dragonballs history and GT is part of that history.

I never grew up watching DBGT but that ending rlly hit different 😢
I legitimately don't give a f**k about what anyone tells me. Dbgt was the ending for me. Super feels repetitive, they're ruining the show by using form after form with ultimately no significance; Using reused designs and just changing colors, Rushing characters leaving them bland and uninteresting, and reusing arc concepts over and over.
Gt was slow at the start yes, and the super 17 arc was bad yes, but even from the beginning slower arcs to the ending villains....it felt like dbz. Through and Through. No horrible misrepresentations, no horrible redesigns.
And this ending made me cry so hard as a kid. Gt is something I will never forget. Not that I'd want too.
It felt like the perfect blend of OG and Z. And Super fills one role, to sell merchandise. Super may have the spectical and fights almost every episode, but it doesn't have heart. Goku isn't Goku in Super, Vegeta isn't the Vegeta we came to love, GT is the only true ending.
@@Reineerus_The_Rat not to mention ssj4 felt like the saiyan equivalent to a god form. It was a saiyan embracing his pride and heritage by becoming a true saiyan. The God forms just feel like Goku and Vegeta are trying to imitate something they're not.

I mean look as rose the only "saiyan" character to be a legitimate God and his God form was pink due to purple+yellow....yet vegeta and goku are blue.....something ain't right there
Super is DB. It's more dragon ball the gt ever was. Gt was made by people who didn't really get what toriyamas dragon ball was all about so they missed alot of stuff. The adventure is non existent and worse for exsisting then not. The arcs are all bad minus baby because they don't get what made dragon ball work and what is currently making super work.
You can feel how you feel, but don't use love for once series as fuel to hate another. Goku and Vegeta are going on actual character arcs, same with The boys and Gohan. Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks and Goten have more relevance then they have ever had in Gt and get to actually do stuff on there own instead of get embarrassed. Gt didn't do everything right at all, and we are currently seeing Goku and Vegeta grow into the men they are on Gt instead of just being shown them.
