Mafex needs to make a Silver Surfer.. It would be so freaking cool..
That is my dream man.. mafex has great articulation and proportions, awesome accessories, and they put a lot more care into the design and quality
If would buy it immediately, no brainer. They are up there with Bandai on a league of their own.

My grandmother had an unusual affinity for silver surfer that i never understood. She always got me silver surfer comics even tho she knew i read abunch of different comics
The Marvel Legends Surfer w/Howard the Duck I had at one point & was the best in my opinion of all of them for all the same reasons. And the magnetic features really helped it a lot!
Dude, I would flip over a silver surfer wave, we’re missing most of galactus’ heralds, I think all of surfers love interests, a bunch of cosmic villains.

Nice Silver Surfer collection and history lesson. I have the 2018 Walgreens and the newest Walgreens Worthy surfer. I like them. I just wish he had the magnetic board from the Toybiz version.
I had that old Marvel Super Heroes Silver Surfer when I was a kid. I don't know why they don't do that mirror finish anymore.
When I was a kid My brother stole the 90s super crome surfer from me and traded it to some one for a game boy color Pokémon game and I never got another silver surfer. Fast forward to 2018 when the Walgreens exclusive came out. I never saw it at my Walgreens or any other Walgreens. I would check website but it was always out of stock. Now it cost an arm and a leg to actually purchase this figure on secondary market.
I have 5 Silver Surfer figures, (only 1 shown here. Another from the 70s i believe and looks terrible. Perfect condition but no articulation and is just white. Another non articulated one that came with FF4 Rise of the Surfer from Best Buy. ).
I did make my own with a Spider-Man 8" articulated toy. (can't remember which or see anything now) and a can of chrome spray paint. Like 30 layers later, the texture from the spidey suit was gone and I had my herald! lol
Walgreens Surfer gets better if you get the 4mm peg magnets for the foot peg hole and one magnet under the board
I definitely got this new obsidian Surfer. It looks great. I think alt heads would be sweet but I’m good with the accessories it came with.

When a new marvel legends goes up on their site you usually only have a short window of time to buy. In recent years their exclusives have been very popular whereas before, you could hop on and order them any time. Times have changed

Picked him up for 65 the toy biz with the comics line are the ones I eventually want due to the packaging with the comic books I only have omega red from that line

I think the animated series was not successful, because of the Silver Surfers disposition. He's a somber and morose almost suicidal character. So is a character like Batman, but the difference is Batman being human and having flesh tones it's easy to see when his expressions come out facially. With the Silver surfer he's all one color it's hard to really distinguish his teeth from his ears if you know what I'm saying
That toy is selling on Amazon third party sellers for $76 so I'll pass.
