first is a knob for the cover over the belts.
second and third are for changing the chuck, tang to lock the arbor and the hex wrench for set screw at top inside chuck

Thank you for the feedback. After you pointed it out, I noticed that you can see the knob in the pictures on the box, but it doesn't mention it anywhere in the assembly instructions.
