When I was young I got a metal detector as a present. After going out 3 times and finding nothing but metal trash I gave it up. Fast forward about 45 years to the present. Watching these videos really makes me want to give detecting another shot. Congrats on your finds and happy hunting in the future guys.
jim Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying my videos. We are pretty lucky to be on an island with so much history. Keep an eye out for my new video coming out in the next few days; which includes a beautiful full gold stater. 👍🏼
OMG you guys xD You keep finding them awesome silver and GOOOOOLD hammies. I'm going out to the place where I found 9 silver hammered from 15 to early 1600s tomorrow!!! Might shoot a video if we find stuff.
danny miester just get her to try it once, with the offer of a picnic, bottle of wine etc... If she has any good signals, she'll be hooked!! 👍 (I was lol)

I believe the sc- was pronounced sh- in Old English. So Sceattas would be pronounced Shey-attas. It is related to the word shot. An excellent video nonetheless.
I'll give you an American point of view find a reputable coin house or dealer whichever way you want to put it and have them on your videos appraising the coins you have found whether it be as an auction value or appraised for insurance that would be cool let us know the value of what you're finding and I know its history I know it's a glimpse back into the past but we're all materialistic how much is it worth
