Queen Shahrazad Ali has been working a long time for our people. She is older now, but she will live forever and I LOVE HER for what she has done for us, our understanding of each other, our conditioning and the way forward.

In the early days of my awakening to the Knowledge of self, I attended a lecture that she gave on this topic ( Black Man's guide to Understanding the Black Woman) back in either late 1990 or 1991 at Syracuse University. Ms. Ali, I started listening to her after Trayvon M murder. She used to be on Dr. Drew & she nvr held back. She believed in Separatism. I didn't agree back then but now I totally understand why us blacks may need 2 be seperate from others. Like she said, we don't have or own food, religion, education, etc. 400+ yrs of us following the white man's playbook...we need our own playbook 2 go by. The only way we can do that is live amongst eachother & create our own. We are not them. The more history I learn, I am realizing who we really are.
I enjoy listening to her enlighten why we do things or why we should do or think in a way to improve our relationship, family self, environment and community as a whole. She is very informative and she is a treasure to Our Black Women and Men to model mentally foremost and be empower to shape our Narrative and existence as Black American.❤ ❤❤❤❤
