Question. I am working on a similarly carved piece and really want to showcase the carvings. Have you used dark wax also? It looks like I see another contrast in the wood carving aside from the gilding wax. Thanks.

That is a gorgeous piece!!!! How did you do the ombré? And is that mineral or chalk paint on the piece?

you can achieve the ombre finish with chalk paint or any waterbased paint. @brushedbybrandy has amazing paint blending tutorials on her YT channel.
