Thank you bro youre filling a niche where there is very little good content, im new to speedsoft and hungry to learn so please create more content like this!
pathing off of the break, where you should step while shooting and where you should commit to dive/slide, when to hold lanes vs push advantage (should always be aggressive, but sometimes its better to let ppl come into your shots?) stuff like that idk lol thanks for responding tho
it's a chessboard and basic math and probability. to be aware of how many opponents vs how many friendlies are on the field at any given time is crucial. love this!
This is great. Airsoft specific content. Sure, you could learn this from watching paintball content, many of us learned communication by competing in paintball. Due to the growth of SpeedQB as a sport, we need more people creating content that is relevant to OUR sport. For a decade, we have been learning about our sport by cross training in other shooting/combat sports. Now, we can get focused on how WE do things.
You know who's pockets get hurt? The field that hosts a SpeedQB event. Their barriers waste so much material, cost money to get them out there, and nets negative money for the field. Sure exposure is kinda neat tho.
That’s a good point. I would say it also depends on the field and how well they build their barriers and keep their rec / speed night players consistent
Appreciate the video, me and my friend are starting a team named NightmareSpeedSoft so this helps with me helping people who haven’t played before learn bunkers
When we played paintball we broke up the backs as 10s going forward will be 20, 30 40 than 50. So those laydowns will be 20s and doritos will be 30s than 40s etc.. 50 of course is the middle. Snakes will be snake 1 snake 2 snake 3 etc.. than for kill counts we used to call out numbers like 42 if we had 4 alive and they had 2 alive. Or 32 if we had 3 alive them 2 alive. Kill 1 kill 2 is pretty common but those digit numbers really helped. When i played more competitively wed switch to state names for bunkers like california utah etc.. and if theres a lot of doritos wed used hundreds like 100 200 300 etc..
Clean explanation. Good content for newcomers to speedsoft. I’ve had people call snake insert bunker “god” for some reason. Tbf it’s a pretty good bunker so maybe that’s why. Other than that, my experience is just various bunkers on Dorito side are D names. Dallas, Delta, etc. would’ve probably called that wedge, Dorito insert bunker Delta. The cans probably would get no names because they look more like lane blockers than playable bunkers but Snake Low/Tall Can would get the message across lol.
The snake insert bunker is called god because if you control it you typically control the snake, meaning you typically control the field. Comes from paintball of course. And those cans are definitely playable and should be named.
@@trevi4093 Im just a normal dude lol Any capa is fine. The normal would probably be better since its about the same as a gold match. You can always upgrade the slide and everything else later.
@iiAnferny, do you recommend using red dots for speedqb or is it better to learn how to use no sights? I struggle when shooting with my non-dominant hand and have to readjust after the first shot, but with my dominant hand i feel way more comfortable posting up. What do you suggest?
Basically a cookie cutter xball field with no big bunkers. You need to understand the angles of each bunker so you can dominate a side and move on it in groups. 1 on 1 free styling isn’t so useful in any gun game. Feels good, but not productive. I need to try speedqb some day. You guys don’t roll your guns enough to cut sections of field to deny movement. Kill and name of your player that died let’s everyone know what you lost. Have to have plans or plays for each death to mean something to your team. Your team has to be able to recognize who they lost in context of how the plan is going to change. Raw kill count on a 5man starts with “55”, meaning 5 up on both sides. You iterate that # down while calling your team deaths. It promotes situational awareness and momentum. Knowing the field means a constant stream of callouts for hot bunkers and deaths is a live data for your team to work advantages or work killing known poor bunkers you have an advantage during a game.
