I've got a vote on prog live albums, one that I believe is usually forgotten, Marillion's the Thieving Magpie. Perhaps a perfect example of what a band can do live versus studio performance.

I had a listen to this today and quite liked it. I'll give it some more listens for sure. I'm not sure if it's been done but have you done a show about albums from modern retro (60s/70s) bands that you believe would be considered classics had they been released during the era they are emulating? I am thinking bands that formed probably post-2000. I hope that makes sense.

loved the album! Uriah Heep tribute band, yes, but they're excellent! ...and of course, it's worth buying just for Ken's presence alone \m/

Pete, as you said, never heard of them but went and listened to some tracks. So right about the Keith Emerson moog similarity on the one song. Now another album to track down. Continued thanks for the new/recently issued review shows, Pete.
Excellent band I remember sampling this record awhile back it immediately made me think of Uriah Heep’s Return to Fantasy which is my favorite Heep album. Tried to find it on Amazon but it was unavailable hopefully I can track it down somewhere else. Definitely worth buying.

Thanks for the review Pete. Just listened on Deezer and I got to thinking that if they'd have got John Lawton to sing on it they could easily have passed it off as a 'lost' Heep album. As others have said you are spot on the money on this one. Thing is would I go out to buy it - not so sure especially as I've just committed a fair bit of my monthly disposable wonga to get the Tallis album and as this is availbale to stream while the Tallis album isnt I guess that for the moment I'll have to prioritise my spend to that.
