Mad prices for property indeed, this region of Spain in general is up and coming
Many people who live I Elche have second homes (apartments) in Santa pola and only use them in the summer months to escape the heat in the city. That’s why it always looks very quiet out of season.
Barry , another great video and you should be paid by Tourism Spain. I have been to Santa Pola a few times and never been impressed but will give it another go. Every time I pass Pola Park off the N322 it puts me off going further into town.
Thanks for the video Barry, flying to Torrevieja early tomorrow morning. The weather looks absolutely amazing. Definitely winter here in Sweden, just a couple of days back it was -15 degrees. Still, no probs I enjoy proper winter weather. Waiting for you guys to break 10K followers.
Like it during spring/ out of season there, not so busy 👍.
Absolutely beautiful there
Great to see that wee video Barry lovely place right enough.Best wishes to you and Karen from a dull windy and dreech Glasgow,no be taps aff for a long while here🥴🤗😂👍🇪🇦🇪🇦💚
Thanks Anne!! 💜
Enjoyed the video. Just for your info Pola is pronounced.... as in 'Paw la'
its already on my list to visit here in May
Hi there love seeing the nice places
Best thing about santa pola, its is own does not belong to elche, has a great feel even in winter once you come away from the beach, busy main road beautiful square at the castle , better keeped then torrevieja
going there in few days. what weather to expect?
Your ice cream was the expensive part of your lunch😊
Hi guys l I live in fortuna Murcia, want to sell my house here and move to a house near beach and shops , I am on my own as my husband died in 2013 I’m not getting any younger lol I have 2 large dogs so a flat would be no good to us
Where would you recommend ❤❤❤❤
You never stated your budget? I'd recommend El Pinet near La Marina or I know a seafront townhouse at the edge of Guardamar
Central Alicante, maybe San Blas, or Benalua. I also love the Campo Amor and Carolina's neighbourhoods too, and they're considerably cheaper than San Blas and Benalua. In Alicante the public transport is excellent, it is very safe and has all the amenities and cultural attractions of much larger cites whilst still being realtively compact. Of course here I am referring very specifcally to homes in the city. If you are after something more suburban, or smaller, then maybe look at Calpe, Altea or Javea. Hope this helps, adn I hope you find a lovely place to live
We went to Tabarca Island a few years back and thought it was a shithole😮
Tabarca's nice as long as you get away from the big, main tourist beach and associated nasty restaurants. The restaurants around the little square are great and the people are friendly. The small beaches at the end are normally quiet and have some great snorkelling. Basically explore and don't be a typical English tourist and you'll love it.
@@gloxton The main beach was filthy the whole experience was very disappointing I was warned by my neighbour it wasnt nice and she was right. Perhaps they have cleaned it up since we went but I wouldn't go again
I went to tabarca. Its a dump
