This is just a photo, so real, onbelieveble it's a painting. I can watch hours to you're beautiful gift. I wonder how many hours this really take to make...
oh my goodness...I just found you. I attempted to paint this bird following someone else but he didn't give detailed steps like you did. Needless to say, it didn't come out as beautiful as yours. Thank you so much for sharing how you achieved this beautiful painting. I have subscribed and liked this video!! Beautiful!!
Your painting is beautiful! So well explained and demonstrated thank you! Have you ever painted a lilac breastfed roller? Is one beautiful bird and I'm sure you will do it justice. What talent you have! ❤
this is looking beautiful! i struggle with textures/feathers in my paintings, and i see you apply the feather texture quite late in the process, would you argue that texture is part of details and therefor not that important to focus on until the final stages of the painting? keep up the great work =D
I view it like a layering process, paint what is furthest back/underneath and build forward ontop of that. Start with a midtoned base layer, paint the general shapes focusing on the values (lights & darks) and refine what you have ontop of that. Thank you! 😄
OMG, amazing! Calming sweet voice:) What transfer paper did you use that was so good? I find graphite just doesn't work well over acrylic paint. Advice?
Thank you!💕🤗 I use Ami/Saral white transfer paper. It could be the acrylics youre using, it doesnt stick as well on some that dry more glossy (I use Liquitex basics).
Hey There and Happy New Year! I discovered you today! and yes i clicked the subs.button. Beautiful artwork, informative and lovely background music! Hope you continue making more videos! Pleasure to watch and listen! Best Wishes!
Wow! That’s astonishing painting and i like your art techniques. Keep sharing your awesome talent my dear.☺️❤️ Hi, I’m an artist too and I’m #113 your newest friend.☺️ Stay positive and God bless.🙏🏻
Thank you! 😄 I use Liquitex basics acrylic paint and the brushes are just a variety of synthetic filbert and round brushes (most without brand) & a liner brush for the finest details. I also have a complete list of all the supplies I'm using on my website if you're interested 🙂: www.marikasinclaireart.com/supply-list
@@brormel1674 I use white transfer paper (gray if the background is too light for white) by either Ami, Saral or any other wax-free transfer paper you can find. ❤️
Thanks! Yes I generally mix them, I rarely use them directly out of the tube, however sometimes I want them as they are, (always thin them with water though) :)
Thank you! I mostly use synthetic filberts and liner brushes for the finest details. There is a picture on the brushes I used for this at the end of the video. 😊
Hi there! I loved this video, you are very clever & clear in explaining. May I ask what brushes you recommend please. Thank you...I’ve just subscribed to your videos. Can’t wait to learn more 😊👍🏻
Thank you so much! ☺ My brushes aren't anything special, but I recommend to have some synthetic filberts, synthetic liner brushes (for details) and rounds, also make sure they are for acrylics/oils, watercolour brushes are too soft. Some bigger for backgrounds, some cheap bristle brushes, and mop brushes (to remove brush strokes, I use regular make-up blush brushes for that, haven't shown that in any of my videos yet though). 😊
Hi! I don't do traceables, here's the link to the reference photo: en.marikasinclaireart.com/reference-photos I recommend tracing the photo rather than someones traceable, you will learn so much more! 😄👏
Hi! This is the picture I used (the differences you see are my own changes): pixabay.com/sv/photos/kungsfiskare-f%C3%A5gel-n%C3%A4rbild-sittande-2046453/
I used a 19x19cm smooth stretched canvas, tracing paper, Ami (or Saral) white transfer paper (trace with an empty pen or stylus) and there's a picture of the brushes I used at the end of the video. The acrylics I use are Liquitex basics. 🙂
There's no actual shimmer, just made them appear shimmery by painting teal (greenish blue) next to the highlights of the feathers. So dark blue, -->teal
You only need a handful and mix from there! 🙂🎨 I recommend not to worry so much about getting the colors perfect, focus on your values instead (lights and darks), if you get those right it doesn't really matter what colors you choose, (you can make the bird green and purple and he'll just look like a realistic green and purple bird instead of blue and orange for example...😊). Also you can always fix the colors at the end with glazes, which also pulls the piece together instead of looking like a "paint by number" and its much easier 🙌

Hi this is fantastic. So realistic! May I ask how long it took for you to paint this. Thanks

I hope you cam upload the video where it is not sped up or at least just twice as fast.. really want to learn how to paint this
That would be an 8hr long video😅 I will keep it in mind to make some slower tutorials in the future! 😊
Nice!!
Thanks ❤
I am looking for your traceable. I would love to paint with you but I need that. I don’t think I can block draw this.

Do we have to apply a colour after the first layer of colour has dries or can we just paint above the wet colour ?
Let it dry or the previous layer will lift, (unless you're trying to blend wet into wet)
amazing :) is that saral transfer paper u used there?
Thanks! ❤ It's Ami white transfer paper (it's the only one I can find here)

Hello can you let me know what is white colour Paper
If you mean the transfer paper, I'm using Ami or Saral white transfer paper. 😊
Wonderfull! :)
do you have reference for this painting
Yes! www.marikasinclaire.com/reference-photos
How u got that green background
Paint a couple of layers until it looks smooth (let dry inbetween) you can use a little yellow & black in there too if you want some variation. 🙂
Please make a tutorial videos 🙏
Please tell everyone about this channel cause they do not get the attention they deserve.

I find that the hardest part about painting with such great details is actually having the colors available.
