Agree to stop the reboots - like, how many times do we need to see a Spiderman origin story? Enough. @@tommydarko1984 couldn't agree more. Reboots always turn out to be trash because they stray to far from what made the original such a classic. They Live for example. Great movie. the only way to do a fri the 13th since we know who the killer is, either give her a sister that she has but was not mentioned, who lives in town under an assumed name, maybe the town waitress or better yet the deputy or somone , and have her be Jasons real mother, but raised by her sister, the Lilly Palmer mrs Vorhees, both women very adept at outdoor life hence the use of killer objects. at least we get additional suspects and having a law enforcment investigate his / her own killings would be a twist and this would be a red herring

Honestly this is a good thing. I'm so sick of all these reboots
Then don't watch them... no one is making you.
No it isn't. Bringing horror and especially slasher films back into the mainstream is something that now is only going to be harder to do. Look at it, look at Halloween, the most popular horror movies in the last couple years. A Friday the 23th reboot would've given creators and companies more confidence in investing money into producing a slasher film. Idk about you but I'm particularly sick of the same supernatural horror movies being released. So if you really think it's good then I sincerely think you're fucking dumb

I don’t get the Terminator issue cause isn’t it also James Cameron’s property too, wasn’t it he that actually had the whole idea and put it together??? Correct me if I’m wrong but, I mean with Gale Anne Hurd wanting the rights back I only see a 50-50 split deal, there’s no way she deserves the whole IP
Mm yeah and no they might stop some shit getting made or might just want the dough lol
Dude all she wants is a split deal. And what's so bad about one person being able to stop these giant corporations from running over a creator? Originality never existed in Hollywood and never will. Get used to it.
@Tom Ffrench Laws aren't determining what movies get made. Laws are giving the rights back to the people who created the stories or characters in the first place. The original creators, rather than some studio exec, are determining what movies get made.

Branden Crouse he was pretty good. VERY creepy
