They are not that valuable so this one would make a better parts tractor. Water got in the transmission case and froze.

🚜🚜🚜 Love a good Oliver. I just did a vid on a 37 Oliver Hart-Parr 70. Can't wait to catch up on some more of your videos.

Nice old Oliver. I would guess from sitting outside all those years water worked itsway in the transmission and froze

Just picked one up myself, same year, even looks about the same. But it’s a runner and has a side mounted Kosch sickle mower and a homemade hydraulic system to lift it.

You'll just have to practice your cast-iron welding, it can be done, just takes a lot of practice.

Oliver tractors are awesome, I have two. That transmission case will be a challenge. It would make a great restoration series............

Karin Adler yes! I'm excited to get it going. I also think the transmission is going to be a trick, but I know I can get it

On your welding the cast iron, if you have time check out Kieth Fenner on Turn Wright Machine Works channel he has some cast iron welding videos. Welding cast is a process to be sure. Good Luck

Oh I'm so excited to see the rebuild series for that 70! I'm so happy you're able to bring her back. So will it be a full restore with paint?
