This is my favorite fast and easy go to recipe everytime I'm hungry for chicken long rice. Mahalo for the kokua. Especially after a long day at work.
You are so welcome!
Whoa you did it already!
Hope you enjoy!
Long rice? Never seen that? Looks good
It's a popular dish here in Hawai'i. Super easy and oh so yummy.
How do you make it on regular stove top ? Thank you .
Same recipe. Boil the chicken and then the noodles and combine.
How many quarts is your instant pot?
I have a 6qt
I tried the recipe but theres too much soy sauce in your recipe. I think 3 tbsp is enough or less. The recipe doesn’t taste as clean as the one I had in hawaii. Also needs more ginger. Fyi
Appreciate your insight. Shoyu varies brand to brand. Some brands have a stronger flavor. If using those brands then you totally can cut back on how much shoyu you use. It's all preference.
Yeah, when I made this it didn’t taste like how my mom’s tasted. When I asked my mom she said she never uses shoyu. She just uses chicken broth with Hawaiian salt & ginger. Just made this again tonight using Relle’s instructions but I omitted the shoyu and used Hawaiian salt. It was perfect! But like Relle said, it’s all preference!
