I love how people blame the tool and not the criminal. Obviously knives have a malevolent intelligence about them. Clearly it's the knife's fault those scoundrals 🙄
It won't make a bit of difference. I suffered a knife crime attack in 2017 I was stabbed 4 times in the back and neck with a 5inch cooks knife. Large prison sentences are needed for carrying a knife. 10yrs + 😢
I don't see how these new laws will change anything apart from making it harder for law abiding people that need things like machetes and billhooks for agricultural type work. These laws might seem like common sense in a city but they are moronic in the countryside.
I'm so sorry to hear what happened to you Darren . You are lucky to survive .You must stay strong Darren we live in an evil world. I hope you having a loving family beside you.
@@jeanbissettfayse8844 Thank you Jean ❤️ I came through it ok. I just cringe at the thought that kids today feel they need to carry a knife for protection yet the minute they use it their lives are over. 😢
Couple of nice Golok machetes there, they're not banned. I agree with most, its the idiot using them thats the problem. These zombie knives have absolutely no practical use whatsoever, usually pieces of cheap crap. No, im not one of those "next thing it will be all blades" type of person. There are some people who use blades as they were intended, as tools.
Why not? when a goverment makes something unlawful when it was previously lawful to possess, then compensation is surely due. If compensation wasn't payable the company would be within its rights to give all of those knives away prior to the ban coming into force.
Do customs and excise not check parcels coming in from certain countries. I’m sure they have the equipment to scan them as they do for illegal substances.
Pay £10 per blade to legit companies but only if they'll disclose data of those who've bought that knives before. Also, request ID checks that company was supposed to do even for online purchases. If not present, fine the company and confiscate all remaining blades for free.
I want to know the pleb, who's idea this is from the government and see if there's a connection to the pleb at the wholesalers... Sorry I can't call them plebs, as their making money. While our pensioners have their winter fuel allowance taken from them... Be interesting to see if there's an increase of pensioner deaths this winter..
I was in Poland recently, where you can buy all sorts of knives from souvenir stands. Everything available for adults and kids. Knives aren't the problem,it's a certain culture that causes a problem.
It does make me laugh that some stupid person in parliament actually thinks criminals are going to hand in their weapons all you are doing is taking these weapons the hands of law abiding citizens ie collectors
Ban zombie knives and "zombie Machetes" sure. But it's not the solution to end knife crime... The people using them for crime don't care if it's "banned"! At least this campaigner acknowledged there are legitimate machetes needed for "brambles" and agriculture. We know about that.
In the end it's not the government who are paying (they're not generating income) but all of us, law obedient tax payers. Or if it's paid not from taxes but from new money created in the system by debt, unfortunately, it's our children and grandchildren who will suffer consequences, future generations who'll be enslaved by the tax system.

And my Huusk is so sharp, like samurai sharp.

They look scary but there no more dangerous than a razor sharp chef's knife
You can't get rid of a peice metal that can be rubbed on a stone which is then a deadly weapon, you'll have to ban metal
Most I guess are made in India or China why not confiscate them at customs?

More rules for we but not for thee. We are just empowering the state with these insane laws!
that wholesaler has been building up his stock of 5 pound chinese imports so as to surrender them to the police and make a tidy profit!
To go and buy another 350 and trade those in too 🤣🤦♂️

Any implement is only ad dangerous as the hand that holds it.
Zombie blades are for sale for on Temu for £3, do rhe maths, buy 10 for 30 quid, and get a tenner each.

Nah bro they won't listen, ban guns, long knives, kitchen knives, cars, spoons. Only a matter of time till they ban people going out at certain times.
