I hope these notes with the timings would be useful if you're having a hard time syncing it like me watch the video alongside these timings for the maximum efficiency I recommend reading the next 2 steps because some of the timings are fast I also recommend bringing some operators in case you actually mess up I hope you find it useful instantly deploy surtr use skill immediately at 12 dp deploy 1st bomb at 2 kills retreat surtr deploy bomb when cd is finished explode before the second bomb is armed/ the 3 hilichurls are in range deploy bomb at the same position deploy bomb once the cooldown is finished when the bomb deploy cd is at 18 seconds explode bomb / when the 3 hilichurls nearby are in range deploy surtr after letting the red dude pass first skill immediately explode bomb when the deploy cd is at 4/ when there are 3 enemies deploy another bomb when cd is done after surtr kills chonky monster spitting dude and spear guy at the top retreat surtr deploy a bomb when cd is done explode the bomb at the bottom when the red dude and gray dude is in the affected zone (It will become a bit faster here so be careful) deploy bomb at the gray dude in the middle (around 30 sec surtr cd) before gray dude enters the blue zone explode bomb deploy surtr at the top before another gray dude enters the blue zone explode the 2nd bomb then immediately activate surtr skill and immediately activate bomb when the gray dude is in range it should be done
Place Surtr ASAP (top left) Use skill ASAP (When she has killed all enemies in range, retreat) Place bomb1 ASAP (in middle) Place bomb2 ASAP (bottom left) Around 51 DP, explode bomb1 (three dudes in range) Place bomb3 (same place as bomb1) ASAP Place bomb4 (in front of bomb2) ASAP Around 68 DP, explode bomb2 (three dudes in range) Around 73 DP, place Surtr (top right) When dude is about to attack Surtr, use skill After Surtr hits the dude two times, blow up bomb3 (three dudes in range) Place bomb 5 ASAP (bottom right) When Surtr has killed all enemies in range, retreat Place bomb 6 ASAP (right next to bomb5) Around 82 DP, explode bomb4 (bottom left) Place bomb 7 ASAP (close to dirt covering red glowy tile) When black dude is about to escape, explode bomb5 (closest to escape tile) Be prepared to place Surtr a few seconds after exploding bomb5 (same place as last time, top right) Be prepared after placing Surtr, blow up bomb 6 (bottom right) when the black dude is about to escape. Make sure to activate Surtr’s skill after that AND blow up bomb7 (next to dirt covering red glowy tile) Success? Maybe?
I did it with some delay on the traps but Thankfully there's about 2-5 seconds of flexibility regarding their placement. If You manage to get 4 enemies killed at the right time the rest should be easy.
@@pelonio6181 I kinda did that but since I'm still slow I just brought every DPS operators I have just to kill those that I missed. It's tedious but it worked well in the end.
@@MB-fn4ii Great job then, i had trouble with at least 3 of the OD/OD-EX stages and it's really hard to complete them even with identical squads because of the constant rng and different character levels.

Since I didn't feel like timing splitboxes, I just used Ifrit + SA + various blockers (mostly Jaye) to deal with those two black ones.

Just trying to sync this to my own is already too tricky for me with a slow response. This stage is way too frustrating.
