Curious how I went from playing 1-3 to 10/20 in such a short amount of time. No it's not a dumb robot, this tool actually learns YOU and what you are weak at and then ADJUSTS your training accordingly! Check out hybridpoker.com?ref=jaman61
Left bottom corner looks like a Ukrainian flag, it kept grabbing my attention haha. New graphics in support of Ukraine? Don't recall it from older videos I watched (although I took months off from watching any vlogs, so can't remember 100%)
You do such an excellent job of being approachable, real, and genuine regardless of how the game is going for you, whether you're up or down. I really enjoy your self depreciating style and especially the dashes sarcasm here and there. While I love watching Rampage & Mariano blasting away in these million dollar games, I find your vlogs to be the most interesting, enlightening and relatable. 99% of the poker world is duking it out in 5-10 (or lower) games. So, even though you may be swimming in cash from your poker related earnings, thank you for creating content for the everyman (or woman). If you're not learning, you're dying. Cheers.
I gotta say, if I walk outta my fav poker room after losing $55 over 4 hrs of playing, I would consider myself lucky. Things could always get worse. I think of it as a small price to pay for some good lessons in the game. I went ahead and liked the vlog cuz you're so darned entertaining. Luv ya dude.
I just lost $900 over the course of an hour yesterday in a 3/5 game. Ran a full house into quads (i turned the boat on K/4/4 flop, he flopped quads), then flopped trips but ran into a boat (on 9/9/6 board and I had A/9), and in the final cooler I rivered the nut straight but opponent rivered a *very* hidden nut flush. Yes, all 3 hands within an hour in the same session, 3 massive coolers in a very short period of time. I should've been stacked on the first hand but wasn't. Ran my chip stack back up after the first cooler only to dwindle down again on that second cooler, then got stacked on that final hand. Unbelievable bad luck, but just an example of what can and will happen in poker.
I really appreciate these types of poker vlogs instead of just being a highlight reel of huge multiway pots where hero hits their draw on the river. This is so realistic. Most of the time you get nothing and you have to debate between c-betting to try and take the pot down or just checking down with someone else who probably has nothing.
I broke my 11 session win streak a few weeks back. Worst loss of my life. It was a lot like your session here. Although I ran into some really crazy variance, some times it just isn't your day.
You have the best made vlogs online! Your use of animation, satire and sarcasm is awesome! I look forward to your vlogs every week! Good luck next time! Hope you win 77 dollars!
This resonates with me... This resonates with me. I can get so disappointed when I lose a session or 2 even for small amounts... I go back grind in the GTO Wizard all the hands I remember and still am hard on myself. Glad to see someone at least can mock their unreasonable bias some times. I needed this. Always good fun Jaman!
I love the Steve Martin "Jerk" reference. I never thought a poker blogger would ever use that and use it well enough for me to watch it again for a good laugh!
Had to restart this one. Was playing an intense game of $1 Jumanji slots on my phone before going back to poker. While I couldn’t pay attention to what you were saying like I can when I’m playing poker too but I will say you’ve got a smooth sexy relaxing voice and of course the music is always dope. Now I’m rewatching for real.
I messed up bad I was doing great in poker but then then I say I started playing slots and we'll I'll just say I should have stuck to only poker ohh well it happens
It's not for everyone, to say the least. But, if you have enough disposable income, and can handle swings of 10s of 1000s of $$, it can make for a nice side vocation. Last month (July) I was going to make ~$85k, which was my best month at the tables yet, but this last Saturday a bad beat near the end of my session cost me $26k, leaving me almost exactly at my monthly average for the year. Weird how that worked out.
Had me laughing from the get go with the reference to The Jerk! 😂 Love that movie. Glad you put the clip in the end also. Thanks for the content as always Jaman!
Bro.... Saturday was one of my worst sessions ever. To start i had this aggressive / calling station on my table. The lady called nearly everything pre. Then if she had any pairs she called no matter what. If you checked to her at any time she jumped on the opportunity to take the betting lead and fired big into the pots. On a normal day id LOVE having someone like that on my table. On Saturday it was a nightmare because i couldn't catch cards to save my life. She legally changed the game from poker to catch a hand. To make things worse i had plans of trying to trap her tendancies and ended up trapping myself instead. KTs and flop a king. Check to her expecting her to jump on the bet lead like she has every single pot. She does. I check call all the way to showdown just for her to roll over KQo. Later A2s. Same thing. Catch an A on the flop. Check call all the way down for her to roll over a bigger ace. To top it off. 2 times i got my entire stack in the pot and both times i was ahead when i did so and both times lost on the river. Poker can be a cruel bitch sometimes. 😢
The best production quality poker blog out there, good opponent analysis and sense of humor. What do you think you need to take it to next level like Owen, Neeme, Rampage, etc….and get 200K+ subs?
I enjoy watching losing sessions not because I’m a hater but because it shows your human and do make mistakes and don’t always run pure. I think showing losing sessions is a real positive.
thats why they say aggresion is key every street you couldve won almost every time sure your going to lose to opposition sometimes but you either need to go all in or fold. and sometimes just all ins constantly non stop, make it 1of 2 or 1 of 3 moves that you do at the table checking is only for trapping.
If you can manage and cut your losses such that, on average, the -$ from a losing session is about 1/5 of the +$ from a winning session then you should be smiling and seriously consider playing poker for a living. Otherwise, just have fun with your friends on the weekends.
Poker is a strange occupation. Its better to play for fun and not a living. This way I go when I feel like it and am not worried about winning or losing.

I really like that site, I checked it out while in Vegas for the wsop.

You had me at "I was born a poor black child" CLASSIC!😎🇱🇷

I think he was sarcastic. But I think you know that as well.

Such an entertaining and well produced vlog. Good job.

The quality and humor you consistently deliver is refreshing. But the poker commentary is the reason I return again and again to Drawing Dead.
Went on a crazy run for the last week and a half and today had a tough session full of lessons. Tomorrow's a new day.
You got this!
I was told the one who make it has a good RUclips channle for backup money
A little something to help 2029 Jaman. Thank you for another good one.
Wow. Thanks will!!
Best editing and music out of all the poker vlogs. You can see all the work put into your videos, excellent work!

Losing sucks

12:20 sick hand! Calling flop x/r was sick.

That's feels like my problem. I'm pretty much a head and people get lucky😢, so frustrating bc I'm losing hands that should be winners all day/nite😤😤😤
Switch venues and go where the action is.
You should've had plans for her in the parking lot!😂
Love your videos!! Greetings from🇨🇭
The Jerk reference had me LMAO. It’s an absolute classic.

Hilarious…stealing the opening of The Jerk👌🏻😂. Youre a brilliant vlogger
You're going to be on Aceholes. To quote Bart Scott, "Can't wait!!!"
How does Rampage keep winning Vlogger of the year? You are a genius.
Love your story telling and the effort into your vlogs. Can’t wait for the next one :) liked and subbed despite your advice😊
Love the opening homage.
I 100% cracked up at the opening/closing. It was amazing.
Oh god... that means I'm old....
You can try if you don’t have bills or very low overhead. But if you live in expensive places like California it’s better as a side hustle.
Great watch 👌
Love the music!
I enjoy watching losing sessions not because I’m a hater but because it shows your human and do make mistakes and don’t always run pure. I think showing losing sessions is a real positive.
Hilarious intro/outro (for those of us old enough to get the reference...).
0:17 2029 is the year of the future in the terminator 🤣
Personally, I TOTALLY got "The Jerk" reference at the beginning. Then again, I saw it when it came out in theaters. Yep, I'm older than dirt! 😉

“… and I win this one
… with my six.”
Perty words 🤙🤙
15:25 a check here would have been good. Slow down, then fire on river.
Of course I caught The Jerk reference and dialogue immediately! LOL! Funny!
"the new phone book is here!" 👍🏾
THE JERK!!!...ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES...ME AND MY THERMOS!!
I LOVE "THE JERK" opening!!! Too funny.

GREATEST INTRO EVER !!!
I didn’t choose the degen life, the degen life chose me! ❤️
First!
Nice homage to the movie: The Jerk.
I was wondering if anyone would catch that! I added the explanation at the end for those not enlightened!
I love the music in your videos--fantastic.
Very funny start
The jerk reference to start was great lol
Jaman definitely has the best poker vlog I don’t understand the algorithm must love brad Owen
Let's guess why, and no hate to Bradley
OMG hilarious opener with The Jerk references!!!
Down -$55... that's a helluva downswing, but don't worry, it'll get better.
Poker is a strange occupation. Its better to play for fun and not a living. This way I go when I feel like it and am not worried about winning or losing.
Jaman who does your animations or what software so you use powtoon ?
Variance in tournament play is tough. Went broke several times. 😔 🤷♂️ Still playing 😝💪
