- The Long March-2F Y12 launch vehicle launched the Shenzhou-12 crewed spacecraft from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 17 June 2021, at 01:22 UTC (09:22 China Standard Time). Shenzhou-12 (神舟十二号) transports the first three astronauts, Nie Haisheng (commander), Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo, to the China Space Station (中国空间站), informally known as Tiangong (天宫, Heavenly Palace).

Yes, noticed the smoothness. It's like riding a fast elevator. When astronauts wave hands, their arms don't shake. You can't even do that in a bumpy road in a car. There is no bumpiness even when the 2nd stage breaks off. Very impressive.

@@papigeng614 又仔细看了一下。肯定不是摄像机固定的原因。摄像机镜头可以防震，但是指挥舱里软的东西不少：绑东西的布条，举起来的手臂，脸上的肌肉，手册上的纸张，太空服的布料，全都看不出震动。震动肯定有， 但是轻微到看不出来。这制造工艺水平高的不是一点半点。将来太空旅游肯定舒服。

You are absolutely right. Chinese shenzhou is larger.
Yeah, pretty much an enlarged Soyuz.
The space station is based of Salyut design, but also enlarged.
Yes, it's a slightly bigger and much more technologically advanced Soyuz. Shenshou has automated fast docking, and I don't think Soyuz has that, or not as simple and advanced. Maybe even needs manual control while Chinese is all automated fast docking
China's docking takes 6.5 hours scrim launch to docking, while spaceX takes like 23 hours or more, China's is almost 4 times as fast, and much more safe as a result. If anything goes wrong, China can launch backup rocket for a quick rescue mission and reach CSS in only 6.5 hours. Then also remember thet they need to get back to earth, maybe even doubling the required time. So could be like 13 hours vs 46 hours.. Could be difference between life and death, success or failure.

Welcome to human space race for CHINA
Looks like a similar setup as the Soyuz with a re-entry module separate from the expendable docking module.
The SpaceX Dragon and Boeing Starliner both dock with the Space Station without a docking module. I believe the Apollo capsule also docked directly with Skylab without the need for a docking module.
The Soyuz model has been tried tested on several different space stations so I can understand going with that design.
