The ending with Lightning helping The King cross the finish line is really touching, definitely one for the ages. (Also those fighter jets are definitely being piloted... By cars. Don't ask me how though)
I honestly believe Pixar movies like cars keep getting thrown into the back because of the legacy of Toy story!! ☹️ The original cars movie is my favorite Pixar movie, simply because of the emotional impact and the character development and the powerful adult life lessons that you understand as you age! Nobody talks about how beautifully choreograph the racing scenes were and the camera work as well. It was phenomenal!! 🤩 Cars means a lot to me just like everyone else who found more value in this movie compared to the most popular in Pixar’s list. The emotions truly hit home when they do. 😭💙🏁🏎️🏁

i didnt watch the movie when it came out, it just looked stupid to me. Fast forward to 2023, my three year old is obssessed with the cars movie, and is having me play it repeatedly, which causes me to watch it once, and yeah it was a pretty cool movie, I even made it so he couldnt watch the 2nd or 3rd ones until i watched it with him lol.
