Stuttgart local here! Currently living in the Netherlands. Really enjoyed this video, seeing all those very familiar places. Cant wait to be back soon. Cheers and I am glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve spent time there and I’ve never had to deal with so many unfriendly and rude people. I ran into a lot of very nice people as well, but over all i ended up keeping to myself after being ignored enough times. I said eff it, I’m not greeting people here anymore. I found more often than not that the people there seemed brainwashed, cold blooded, and arrogant.
Anthony… so many people have said the exact same thing to us. And most of them being German. They know they are cold and rude. We must of had a very lucky experience. Not one person we met gave us that vibe. Maybe we won’t go back to Germany… it’ll ruin the positive memories 😅
@@parttimetravellingfamily I have cool friends from Cologne and they’ve told me it’s much better there. I’m happy you had a great experience though. It’s almost magical when you visit someone new and everyone is helpful and friendly.
I've been welcomed by everyone here in Stuttgart, regardless of their nationality, with around 40% of the population of Stuttgart being immigrants, throughout Germany in fact. You sound like you're talking about the Brits in a British city actually.
I love your vids guys. I’ve not watched them all so sorry if I missed it but I’ve been lucky to travel lots through Europe with an old job I had and if you like architecture and food then Copenhagen is for you, by far far my fav Europe city. Now get your arse over to Thailand 🇹🇭. 😎 Colin
Thank you guys for being satisfied and felt welcome in my hometown. I love Britain and its people and I loved watching your video. Wish you all the best.
@@parttimetravellingfamily Try Schwabian dishes when you're at that part of Germany again. And the weekend brunch too. It's supposed to be a tradition. Also all kinds of Brot and Brötchen and Torte. PS: I found that Southern Germans are in general friendlier.
Yes, we Germans are nice. But to be honest, many of the people you met were immigrants and especially italian and turkish people, which run most of the fruit shops, are very nice.
Fun video.... I also always felt that Germans are rather rude and not very friendly LOL You are lucky. BUT Switzerland is amazing country. That should be your next European destination. Especially Geneva is mind blowing (pricey too lol). Everyone is so friendly, helpful and respectful and I've never seen such clean and beautiful city.

@@parttimetravellingfamilywell I agree with you on Germans but it’s entirely opposite in Poland . They are extremely nice . I live here
We were in Munich, and people were nice

Haha thanks Colin. Funny enough we're booking our Thailand flights tomorrow for mid November. Copenhagen definitely on the list 👍🏾
@@parttimetravellingfamily that’s awesome, give us a shout if you need any advice. Enjoy Germany,
Hi guys, we are a mixed race family did you guys have any issues?
Absolutely not brother. Had a great time with many people going out of their way to help 🖤
Depends on the person. It might not be different than in the UK or US. There are a lot of polite ones and some racists.
What kind of question is that? :D
In Stuttgart 44% of people have a foreign origin, so it’s nothing special

What do you recommend more Munich or Stuttgart for living as IT manager?
Munich!
Munich is the most expensive town in Germany when it comes to renting a flat.
Funfact - you didn't have any typical german food except of the Brezeln
🙈 Dammit... Next time! ☺️

Switzerland is amazing to visit but seem to be more cold/rude to foreigners.
