    Nice, i was looking for this because the 5th edition shows that Ic = 3.75∠-111.34°, but i was pretty sure that the angle should be positive.

    Hello thank you for your videos, I hope all Electrical engineering students (or just anyone wanting to learn) takes a chance to appreciate your videos. I would like to ask you a question, for this problem, the book says the answer to Vca is 207.8

      The question specifically says a positive sequence, so that should guide your signs. Back to the angles, remember that -180 is at the exact same position as 180 on a CAST diagram, for example. A 30 lag would mean that the phase voltage would be at -210, which corresponds to 150. A rule of thumb would be to just add 360 to get a positive angle. 360 is a revolution, so it takes you to the exact same point
