Damn Skelly, I think you make my favorite reviews for the Joytoy figures. They contain everything I expect: some artistically lit shots, an in-depth discussion of the figure and pointing out of the flaws, appropriate size comparisons and, last but not least, real-time posing. Yet again I was on the fence, and seeing how the figure strikes some cool poses won me over. Joytoy should really think about at least sending you some review samples cause your reviews represent their product very accurately :) I think I'm going to get Tybestis and turn him into Martellus of the Blood Ravens...

I've still yet to do a standalone vid of the UM Redemptor they sent, just thinking of a unique way to do it as there are tons of videos that already cover the bases. I very much look forward to seeing the results of your Techmarine conversion! Even with the issues I had, he's easily one of my faves this year so far
Great review! I got this guy in the mail the other day together with the custodes terminators.... The custodes are freaking awesome and a personal fav of mine, but this guy is on another level. He looks and feels so amazing i just can't keep my eyes and hands off him, he lives as my desktop **joy toy** basically :D

Ahh I think AC Studio had the same happen with his. Mine is loose but hasn't come off yet. Maybe only a matter of time lol but yeah, even with my issues, this is a cracking figure!
Another great Video! BTW Dark Angels 4-man Intercessor squad dropped! It's probably a repaint but tis finally DAs! 2 new Templars also. Wonder if they will do a DA repaint on Templar crusaders. I got the full refund on Calgar without return because of the missing bits but then found a place to order original parts from super cheap. Oh, and man you were right about Captain Tor Garadon, absolutely fantastic piece! The sheer size! I think his head sculpt is the most realistic detail, eyes that follow you and razor fine sculpting. I think I like him even more than my Crowe who is also a stellar piece. Cheers!

I just got this guy and the iron priest. Both are great. I can't decide which I like best. I also am having a hard time choosing which head to use on my tech marine - both look amazing!
Yeah, I think both figures are stellar. I think maybe Techmarine edges it slightly for me, due to more available articulation at the waist and torso. Can't go wrong with either head!

It's reminiscent of both of our Shadowsun video reviews, where my figure had several issues, while yours had none. It's always intriguing to see different reviews by others. Anyway, the Techmarine is my favourite Joytoy Warhammer figures up to this point!

I'm the same! it's a testament to Joytoy that even after quality control issues, I still think this is some of their best work and in fact, probably my favourite release of theirs too! I really like the fact that their Warhammer line fits with my normal 1/18 collection, but the Techmarine in particular, has a versatile design that lends itself to other sci-fi settings. Ultimately, the look, accessories and solid performance with articulation really puts this above the rest!

It took a while to release this figure but I see it was well worth - I was really scared to find another Ultramarine Librarian! But I see that JT has been improving their manufacturing process steadily, latest sisters of battle, black templars, and custodes are so cool and only minor issues! Sadly this means that they will keep bleeding my wallet white with these and other upcoming figures (anybody talks about terminators, chaplains, and dark angels?) Thanks for you reviews - they are both informative and enjoyable!
Yes, I'm glad Joytoy took the time out to really do the Techmarine justice. Let's hope that the days of the Librarian are well and truly behind us! Oh gosh, the never ending release schedule has me worried got my sanity lol I've been trying to keep to named canon characters, but failing miserably. Thank you, brother Mario, for the encouraging words. Really appreciated🙏 💀
I really slowed down on 40k with all the repaints but this figure is excellent. Great in hand and one of the best they've done. Shelf presence is top notch.
Lol yes, agreed! The usual visual aids and vigorous hand gestures simply wasn't working, but eventually it got stiff. The Consortium needs to assemble! Bank holiday weekend perhaps? Any Warrior vids on the Horizon?
Lol I really like them now. Joytoy have improved the range from the initial releases where the arms were popping off. When I've compared it to 1.0, the lateral raise on more recent marines have been the same or better. Plus, the pull out arm mechanic for 1.0 really didn't do much and looks terrible. 1.0 is definitely easier for customs though
