She made me tear up as well, I lost my dad two years ago when I was 17 and I cried knowing he wouldn’t be able to walk me down the aisle

I remembered back to my wedding day when me and my dad spoke in the small room before we went out to walk. My dad isn’t really an emotional guy so he just spoke about the weather to keep the convo light hearted but I know in his own special way it was his way of saying I want to enjoy these last moments before I have to give you away! I will cherish that small private moment for the rest of my life x

I feel like her tears were really meaningful & representative for all the people who will never be able to experience the same moment. I cherish what I did have with my dad while he was here. But can't lie that not having him here to walk me down the aisle or to grandparent my children did hit hard and has been a discouragment for me to even take those steps in life anymore. Special moments are most special with the people you can share it with.

Aww, this was nice to hear about. I loved hearing how Cory proposed. Nice to hear many things about the wedding, sounded great. I especially loved when she talked about always remembering the moment she had with her father before he gave her away, got me teary eyed. I'm sure many fathers and daughters experience that before they are given away at their weddings.
