Slick needs Gold Fish for his pond. Slick your center punch looks like a .50 Cal shell. Every time you swung the hammer. I hollered "Dont" lol Good work young man. I appreciate your skill. Not everyone has it. As long as Bill's happy.
Glad you like the 32 - 3 window drawing, it came from the estate of an old So Cal hot rodder named Tom Isbell. He left behind several projects and lots of memorabilia. I knew it would look good on your shop wall. Love your channel, keep up the good work. Thanks for the shoutout.
So glad the storms missed y’all and love the knowledge you share with us I always look forward to seeing your videos and puddins fab shop just picked up a 97 step side chevy to tinker with thanks again god bless you and your families
Glad y'all are OK 😉 Hurricane country here so I'm used to the rain but it's a pain 4 sure. Just found a bunch of hidden rust on my 65 beetle, so I am looking forward to seeing how you approach your bug steel...
Here in Australia, we have an engine additive called SLICK 50 coat's all the bearings ,etc, put in the oil , for engine or manual gearbox, none limit diffs, but if ever you nead engine rebuild all surfaces hard to grind,😂 thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Dang Slick. I’m in northwest Missouri but I know how bad it gets in your neck of the woods. We think about you, Puddin, and Bill when we know you’re catching it.
Glad you all are ok. I lived in OKC for many years growing up and have seen my fair share of tornadoes. Wish you the best with the shop and the channel. 😊 Patrick
Glad to hear yall safe after all that crazy weather, visiting my grandfather in Missouri one year we had several tornados touch down near us, he lived on 180 acre farm and away from sirens. I was freaking out and asked when we go to the storm shelter? He said and I quote “you see those trees across the field? When they bend down and touch the ground we will go to the shelter 😂😂 I was like no offense grandpa, it’s that too late?? Me being from California born and raised I had no clue and never been around tornados before
@@OKspeedandcustom grandpa was a crazy person 🤣🤣🤣 only man on earth I have ever seen take the phrase “grab a bull by it’s horns” seriously, needless to say I never messed with that man 😂
my parents garage floods every time it rains. They found this expanding tube that they roll out in front of the door. When it gets wet is expands and blocks the water from coming in and directs the water out to the side. That may be something you would be interested in using to put in front of your roll up door.
I'm glad you guys are OK slick you don't have a day when you put your video up do have video that show us good wield or a bad wield or what to look for 😊 thanks also cool picture of 32
Good idea on the good weld vs bad weld! Dont have one currently but we can focus on that. Currently we don't have a dedicated day for video drops. We have just been trying to get one out a week!
Great video as always boys, glad that you two and your families are ok. Very sorry to hear about David, he seemed like a good guy. I love early VWs too.
Good afternoon from Cape Cod ⛵ It looks like you bit the bullet on this one Slick, no permanent damage so there's no harm no foul. Good to see you got right back to work and making some awesome progress ✌️🇺🇲
@OKspeedandcustom things on Cape Cod are going well, trees on my property are dropping like flies 😂 extremely high winds considering we stick out into the ocean. I've spent several days cutting up downed trees. I'm too old for this crap 😂 thanks for asking Slick ✌️🇺🇲
@OKspeedandcustom Cape Cod is very nice Charlie, if ever you come this way let me know ahead of time it would be great to meet you and show you around ✌️🇺🇲
Dang, you guys get all the rain, and we're in a drought here in central Pennsylvania. It's 11/10 and it's finally raining a little bit, but still not enough.
@@OKspeedandcustom we finally got some rain last night, but if you could send it this way. Lol. Hope you have a great veterans Day today, please keep up the great work and just keep on keeping on.
Well you can let sandbags across the doorway to stop flooding inside. It is a good thing your roof is not leaking with all the sheet metal you have in your shop . You have amazing skill that will take you far in the world of hotrod. Have you seen( stout metalcraft )? She is building a Toyota stout like Puddin . Her metal work is awesome
Here is what we would do in la Porte tx. In the shop to remove water. Get shop vac hook hose to larger storage container with hose hook to lid. Use second hose from storage container to water source. Make Shure shop vac hose just get inside lid. Suction hose to water that his goes to bottom of. Storage container. You will be able to dry up most of the water of concrete quickly. And if you use 5 gallon bucket set up 1 lid and have extra buckets you can remove a lot of water fast.
Glad you guys are ok 👍 ❤! But a great shop vac on wheels, easy to dump when full, works for so many jobs! I used mine twice in sucking out a basement. First I blew down into my drain and unplugged it, then I had to go way back to get a lg puddle. In front of your door dig a run off trench to your drain area deep to lay in a corrugated pipe line black plastic cover with stone not sand or dirt!!! It must drain the water away! God bless love your videos
Where the water gathers most and the deepest part where water collects dig a small sump with a metal lid so you can pump from there hope you get it sorted guys glad your all safe 👍
Easy to fix the rain issue . remove the grass and dirt arround the shop where it leaks. create a 4 deg slope away from the shop and refill with 1/2 to 1 inch gravel the new pitch will stop the floddin. I think you might know someone with a bobcat? :)
@@OKspeedandcustom You can also dig down a few feet and throw pitched corrugated pipe in the ground then cover with the stone. A few lengths for 2 sides of the building and a 90deg connector, just send it away from the building towards where it slopes down hill and you can get away with sending water. Backfill with quarry process “3/4 inch crushed stone” you can even throw a few inches of dirt on that so nobody knows, like say this had to be done on a Sunday without a permit “not yours but someone else’s” think about a small and cheap concrete pad by entrance of doors on said side with a slope away from building as well. Good luck fellas, that’s awful what happened to your neighbors. We had the same thing here during the hurricane, just awful how fast and hard those things hit with raw power. Have a great weekend, both of you.
Just a random thought on your videos. If you’re shooting on an iPhone, try turning off the HDR settings. It looks to me like your color is off, and this is what iPhone video looks like with HDR settings turned on. Thanks for this video. Working on a frame mounted pedal assembly myself and needed to see someone else’s version. 👍
I have the notion that you and charley are gonna do something good.....that could be it. AND YOU COULD PUT IN THAT NEW POND/ SLASH ROUND ABOUT IN THE YARD AND TAKE CARE OF A BUNCH OF OTHER ISSUES YOU MAY FIND ....
You may want to consider tats for your arms like Jacob's. All that grinding he's done for years, ergo Tattoos to hide the burn spots. 😂 So glad you dodged a weather bullet.
Slick pour some kitchen soap in your pond like your washing a car it will open the clay layer and it will drain without hurting your grass.put sand bags at door to stop it from entry cheap and can be removed when not needed.
@ not sure! We did a round trip to Denton, TX and back yesterday to the Pistons & Paint show. I need to go see Jason to see what’s going on in Sand Springs

As a trash pump in the Puddin pond maybe it does the job
