Metal is an ok character but is still not that good When they fix grapple and make it not shoot the ground 90% of the time then he'll be way better. It's just that Metal is not good on his own he needs teammates so Metal + A stunner let's say Knuckles makes Metal Sonic a very good Stun chain starter
