La Bamba Cover

“Look up in the sky, up towards the north
There are three new stars, brightly shining forth”
On Feb 3rd every year The Bluejays mark ‘the day the music died’ with a tribute to Buddy Holly. This year we wanted to honour the memory of another of the three stars now brightly shining forth from heaven above, Ritchie Valens and his massive hit, 'La Bamba'.
We filmed this video just before lockdown whilst a trip to the studio was still possible.
