As the song goes.. They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. They cut down the trees and put them in a tree museum and charged the people a dollar and a half to see them.... Not happy with destroying historical Uplands school down the road, they now destroy this beautiful coastline. Typical crass Malaysia.
Timothy, we have to constantly remind CM Chow Kon Yeow to push through the LRT project asap even though MRT Corp has taken over. He is duty bound to see to its implementation. The promised made is at the end of the year to commence work . Even though MRT Corp has taken over the job from the state government and is doing feasibility study of the undersea line connecting island and mainland an also some underground stations , it shoud have a target date to complete and carry out the project as promised at year end or the latest very early next year. Even PM Anwar has mentioned to expedite the project .
This soon-to-be-open park in Gurney Bay is something everyone is talking about and looking forward to coming. Comes Christmas I believe it will be opened by then and it will definitely be jammed everywhere in this area. I hope it will be decorated with beautiful Christmas theme lightings. The major concern is the lack of car parking lots.
The existing-building spare next to the park is ridiculously insusficient!!! Easily count lesser than 50 car park lots there. What a poor planning? Soon we will see huge jam near the area.
I so agree. As you saw in my video, when I saw the limited number of off street parking bay, I feel this is not going to be enough. I believe they are constructing a multi-storey car park somewhere within this development.
@@discoverwithtimothy they should build as there will be no public transport system and the LRT don't know when will be materlize as it take years. There will be massive crowds once the park is ready.

I am not sure if it will open in September, and it's already September! But as you can see from the video, one portion, near the sea, is very much done.

My observation, 1. Fresh water, has no flow meter. 2. Sea-side construction material must be from Stainless steel SS grade to prevent corrosion.
