    Thank you for taking the time to do this for us, I learned a lot. I have a pipe fence gate into my property that the homeowners before us had painted, and there is rust I have to deal with first. So I'll start with an angle grinder with a resin disc, then coat with Ospho rust neutralizer, then vinegar, then primer, and then spray paint. I'm hoping I'll only have to do this once... grin.

    Rustoleum brand, "Regal Red" high gloss. This is what I use on my gates and round pens. Apply with a quality brush which takes time, but the result is professional. Always clean and use a primer on rusty or corroded spots on the metal.

    Airless sprayers with the gallon can is the way to go not a brush or glove
