The system was built for me by a friend of mine. He used a acme thread rod I think 12tpi. The end of shaft is cut down to fit a small roller bearing. The nut is homemade and fitted with a pin on each side to fit the yoke.

Actually it's solid aluminum and just cut to look like a pipe.
