I am a Clinical Supervisor, more often than not the people who work in this field have experienced trauma themselves. In the last 6 years the majority of the people I supervise have had to take atleast 1 “mental health break”…the younger generation are even worse.

Don’t confuse psychology with psychiatry. A psychiatrist has an undergraduate degree, four years of medical school, and 4 years of residency training. A psychologist typically has a masters or Ph.D in psychology which is 6 or 7 years of education vs 12.

The way she held up her hands to show what a venn diagram is makes me think she has mild aphantasia. Meaning she can’t fully visualize things in her mind. From my experience only people who can fully visualize a red apple in their mind and can manipulate it have what I consider normal empathy skills. And if you dont have empathy skills you shouldnt be a pyschologist. That should be a prerequisite test for anyone studying that field. Would you want someone diagnosing you who can’t make a copy of you in their brain?
Psychology is very real it just has been diluted and corrupted because weak men allowed mentally unwell women to get their hands on it.
Psychology is fine, but like politics, medicine, education, and law it attracts sociopaths. What better way to gain access to more victims to manipulate and force into misery than a field that depends on power imbalances.

I’m a forensic psychologist myself, she is ridiculous. First of all, it’s very Borderline Personality behavior for her to indicate that everything is about her. It’s also irresponsible that she indicates that men can determine her feelings. She is giving double standards. The man’s behavior is absolutely not psychopathy or narcissism. It’s very irresponsible for an alleged mental health provider to throw those accusations out.
Unfortunately, even with mental health ussues, very big ones, you can still be smart enough to pass tests and have and understanding of what you are learning.

Don’t confuse psychology with psychiatry. A psychiatrist has an undergraduate degree, four years of medical school, and 4 years of residency training. A psychologist typically has a masters or Ph.D in psychology which is 6 or 7 years of education vs 12.
She's a psychologist not a psychiatrist. Also there's many levels to it. Peterson is somebody who is at the top of his field clinically and academically. Meanwhile she just did the bare minimum in modern psychology to get by. It's an entirely different field nowadays
