Haha I saw him in 2016 and we was definitely high as a kite 😂. He just stood in the middle of the stage and sounded incredible. I think he recorded this a week after I saw him.
He comes across so chilled, but from watching his docos, every note and musical placement is skilfully planned and executed. He is just so bloody great and making it look easy. He has to be in your top 5 by now just on technical skill alone. Throw in his amazing range, unique tone and artistic style and he should be up there with the 'greats' 😜

The ENTIRE Telluric album which, which this song is on, is straight fire!! I didn’t discover it until 2019 and still listen to it till this day in 2024. Not a ton of albums these days that you can just put on and listen to the entire thing. Matt Corby is super underrated!
The emotion of this song is so deep even people carnt sing the true emotion of this song cause its from the heart which isint found these days which is showing how the worlds going 😌 show us more of the real as its true like Corbey
