Man... if I had 10% of this persons skill I'd pump out comics/manga's left right and center. I have the ability to craft deep and rich stories, but lack decades worth of illustration experience.

Why not just write a book then? You don't need to draw to create deep and rich stories :p
And even if you really wanna draw, lack of skill is not stopping you. Look at One, made some of the best mangas out there but he didn't draw high quality art.
In the end you are just making excuses for yourself and if crafting deep and rich stories is something you really wanna do you should just do it. Whatever you have now is good enough to start, and as you go you will be better.
@@TheChodex As far as my current artistic skills, I'd say they are below the original one punch man manga art. I can copy/replicate art very well, but for the life of me I cannot get what is in my head on paper. This is a similar issue most illustrators face during their aspiration period. If I try to create a dragon from the vision in my mind, it comes out looking like a mutated worm. Or if I want to create a gundam-like robot, it comes out as a vending machine.
As for story, I have been casually working on one in particular for a while. As I type this, I have 80 written pages when converted to a standard 8" book format. I'll see it to the end of the first light-novel.
The difference in all of this is the ability to write AND illustrate. Very few can do that.
You know most of these channels are just tracing either photos or other peoples art right? There's a reason why most of them never create anything original.....
