This is my entry for the No-Effects Challenge of SoYouThinkYouCanVid.
This is my last video of 2011 as well! Oh my gosh!
It has been a great year! Well... minus the fact that my original account got suspended, meh. But still, it was a good year! I started 2011 with a huge multifandom video (The Lightning Strike) and it's such a coincidence that I'm ending it with a big multifandom video as well, haha!
So, let's talk about the video! I used no effects, which was the point of the challenge haha! I honestly didn't find it hard to not use effects since I usually don't use any (except some flashes or cookie cutter). What I'm trying to say here is that even if there wasn't this challenge, I would have made this video the exact same way I did here. :)

Hello judges! I present you my entry for the current challenge.
At first, I really wanted to make a video about only one fandom but when I stumbled on this song while listening my playlist on shuffle... I started to picture something in my mind. And when I saw the song was exactly 4 minutes long, bells started ringing in my head. This was it!
What I tried to represent with this video is, basically... life! Personally, this song brings me a feeling of nostalgia and I really wanted to portray this feeling through clips of movies and series. I didn't follow all the storylines of every single clips I picked because there isn't enough time in the song, of course. But every clip represent the lyrics so we can feel all the emotions I tried to diffuse.
Those emotions are: Love, Joy, Sadness, Courage, Loneliness, Faith, Hurt, Regret, Fun, Pleasure, Betrayal, Hope, Courage, Freedom, Serenity, Calm, Happiness... all the emotions a human being can feel during a lifetime. :)
I guess I am done now with my rambling now.
I really hope all of you guys will enjoy it and that it will put a beautiful smile on your face!

This was absolutely amazing. I loved how you made a connection from film legends like James Dean and Audrey Hepburn to our modern films.
With a multifandom video, I think the trick must be to make it engaging even if the viewer doesn't know all the fandoms. This succeeds for sure!
I don't know why but as soon as I saw that one Spartacus scene you used of Andy in the rain I just teared up. I was already loving this video the begin with because I love all these fandoms but as soon as I saw him I instantly fell in true love. This is totally going into my favs.

Probably the most magical multifandoms I've seen! Loved Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands + Titanic the most. You should have used the scene when the water comes down and Ron + Hermione kiss with the lyrics ' is a waterfall'. Coldplay are one of my favourite bands so thankyou for using this song
SO.. I just watched this about 5 times and each time I watched it, I cried. Everything about this video.. is Life. Saying life is beautiful is what I stand for. This is just absolutely gorgeous. No words can truly define how beautiful this video and of how life is.
Oh.My.God. Im so freakin glad you used Warrior! That part where they are hugging, the part you used, is the most adorable thing i have ever seen! FREAKIN GREAT! Mooree Warrior! lol

wow a very wierd thing just happened. now a year later since i wrote my previous comment, im at a point in my life where im not sure of my direction, feeling lost and well, just scared. so i was just going through my favorites and i see my own comment, reminding me how beautiful life is! apparently life is full of surprises :D and your video is still as beautiful as ever!

Thanks for making us feel, wether it's happiness, sadness, confusion, it's great to live through the emotions along with the characters! How you play around with the clips and music intensifies all those feelings and creates a whole new piece, it's great! :D
