- Dead By Daylight doesn't want you to miss out on the party if you're a newer player, and they've dropped a redemption code that's good for the 4th and 5th anniversary celebration crowns for all the original characters who were around prior to the 5th anniversary! Let's check them out!
Simply use the code "PARTYHATS24" to get these items. Let's go redeem the code for the rewards!
To redeem these codes go to your in game store, click on "Redeem" on the bottom of the screen enter the code in the redemption box and click redeem.

That was a pretty frustrating period. Each game had one shrine for everyone to fight over and unfortunately never won that battle. womp womp 😅 Also, the crowns shone like a flashlight from across the map. Not good for staying out of the killer's crosshairs.
What's really funny about this is the fact that year 4 crowns are given to Elodie, Felix, Twins & Blight when they didn't even exist then. Haha
I don't think it's so cool that the crowns are just given out because they were very rare items that you could only get in the past and now just like that, that's stupid :/.

Doesn't seem necessary since you had to survive the matches in the 4th yr and i think 5th so you earned it, if you were a survivior. I was getting the 4th yr but couldn't get them all in time since about 1/2 my surviviors weren't lvled up, at all, so i couldn't survive to earn them, so i was sure to have everyone ready by the 5th so i could get them all. Yet this makes it feel not worth the effert, i spent, if everyone gets them for free a few yrs later : /
This really makes me wonder why I spent all that time collecting these during the 4th and 5th year anniversary if everyone gets them by typing in a code. If I knew that I wouldn’t have even bothered collecting them
It's the crowns from 3-4 years ago, that quite literally almost no one uses. Calm down if it was actual good cosmetics that people cared about and repped frequently I would understand the frustration but I literally never see anyone use these.

I spend literal days trying to get every single crown, when I could’ve just waited a few years to get them all easily.

The real reward was all the friends we made along the way

I wasnt around for the 4th or 5th year events but i tend to agree that they should have kept these behind the curtain and only for those who earned them.
I would agree if there were actually difficult to obtain when available. They did not signify you completed some hard challenge. Just that you bought the game before a certain date

In any case I'm sure everyone who got them in y4 and y5 equipped them loads of times in their 4 and 3 years of exclusivity respectively.
I have them all from year 4 and 5. I don't find them special, but at least they are letting others have them
I really don't think its fair that they are doing this. I worked very hard (wasn't a good survivor at the time) to get the 4th and 5th crowns. Thinking 100% that they weren't coming back, I got them for every survivor and killer. Now they just give them out for free? I wasted all that time for nothing? They should of made them a different color or something! Very disappointing.....
You probably got Lunar New Year event cosmetics you didn't play in given to you, or convention exclusive cosmetics that you didn't attend most likely?
@PaulieEsther to be fair, I do. I have the death garden meg mask which was given to everyone. I was also given the anniversary crow charm from last anniversary that I never had. Just got a little mad yesterday because it was really the only rare stuff I had.
@@PaulieEstherforgot to mention that I also received the BBQ stuff. I originally owned David's lunar jacket, but then they gave them all out. I just feel like some stuff should never of been released later on. At this point they should give everyone legacy. I'm just gonna enjoy the game and appreciate some of the other cosmetics I have. the code gave my the 4th year crowns for The Blight, The Twins, Felix, and Elodie.... all who came after the 4th year anniversary (if I remember correctly)

Codes for crowns..old masquerade masks/outfits in store…why aren’t they giving out or making available to buy old anniversary outfits?? The yellow deathslinger outfit/gun has been my most wanted cosmetic for years :(
The Tryk's Eye badge is acquired by getting six[? I think??] anniversary skins/badges and banners in the Anniversary Tome Rewards.

I have several of these crowns and its fine. I didn't 'earn' them by doing some challenge or accomplishing anything.
I was *given* them by joining at an earlier date. Lock 'rare' cosmetics behind hard challenges not join dates.
It's really nice that everyone can get all the crowns from 4th and 5th anniversary, but I have to say it's also disappointing that they don't do the same with legacy outfits making them available for everyone, too...
Legacy outfits make sense being locked for only those that unlocked it, these are anniversary crowns that imo should be available every anniversary just like the masks
@@rainbowhaven It doesn't make sense at all! As they implemented the first crowns, we all had to unlock them, too. Now they are all free. When I remember this right a survivor had to collect an invitation AND escape, a killer only had to collect the invitation. So you needed a lot of time and patience. The double-crowns and masks you had to earn too by playing during event time, collecting invitations and doing tasks from the event rift. I mean it's fine and I like it, that everyone can get the crowns and masks now, but to be exact it's lucky that these outfits got put together for an anniversary event, which comes back every year since 3rd or 4th year. And for legacy outfits we all get punished for 1st not having bought the game on release and played while these outfits were available and 2nd bad luck that there is no repeating event which includes legacy outfits.
Now everyone can have them if you missed out W change

Lol this is one of the best's code we've got, and I counted 50 Crown's when I put the code in but I know I had some crown's unlock for some of my characters already I just don't remember who

I got that Masquerade Outfit for Pig and for Ghostface. Playing those killers in the event only because of the outfits. Had fun matches with them.
I entered the crowns code on my Steam and it did exactly what it did for you so I'm guessing it works the same for everyone.
Also, I haven't bought any cosmetics and I also have the Tryks' Eye badge. It's actually from compleating the Collection. Look in the upper right on the Collection screen for the Twisted Masquerade.

I was just thinking that the crowns went against their anti exclusive mentality. They were starting to stand for players that have been here for a while. Now, they just let the killer see you more easily.

Cheers for the code! It's kind of funny the drops are exclusive to fog whispers, when maybe 4 barely play and not regularly stream (not including yourself of course you're a real one). Maybe shows a flaw in the fog whisper system BHVR refuses to change (I know you've talked about that too on stream)

I was so confused because I unlocked almost all of these (save for a couple OG survivors I didn't have / didn't attempt the escape with at the time) and it was unlocking crowns I already had. Glad they finally released them. I was missing the 4th year with Adam and I now have every cosmetic on him. I'll never actually use it, but it's nice that it's there in the collection 😂

You unlock Tryks’ eye through buying new masks with Gilded Trinkets. The lore implications behind her is crazy, the eye must be what puts people in the trance during the party like the new cosmetics mention

FYI The Badge you got the (Tryks Eye) is for 6 items from anniversry tome shop thingy and it gives you a badge for buying 6 items Its a milestone item for 6 purcheses in the event shop with the new currency

Even if youve already got all the crowns, you should still redeem the code as it gives you 4 year crowns for felix, elodie, blight, twins, and zarina who apparently didnt have them before

dude, it's a floating yellow circular cheeto behind some characters heads. If it actually mattered, the devs wouldn't have done it at all. They did it because these cosmetics don't actually demonstrate any sort of prestige.

Hey man, I did every step you said, I logged in with my bhvr account and connected to Twitch, but I don't see any drops in my inventory. Are these drops valid for the PC Steam version or are they coming to the Switch platform? Do gamers earn rewards by watching ttv streams or something?
The rewards are earned by watching fog whisperers on twitch if they are even still available im not sure

Y’all better give me all the cool EARNED cosmetics for free for the last 2 years I’ve missed out on by not playing the game. Just another slap in the face to the community of players who took a game that’s goal was to sell 500k units to the icon it is today.
