We were lucky enough to get invited to a Cirque du Soleil media preview of their new show Songblazers which is coming to Nashville July 2-28 at TPAC. We got to interview some of the show performers and even the Director of Creation of the entire show.

I went to see the show and it was AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. It definitely pays tribute to country music and you can tell they worked hard!

This is not Cirque du Soleils first theatre Venture. Multiple of the shows on the strip are theatre shows Cique prouctions, and on Broadway Paramour was their first attempt at broadway.
I attended Song Blazers July 7 and really enjoyed the show. Very well performed. My only complaint was the bright lighting. In fact, I did not see any of the aerial acts because my vision was BLINDED by the excessive spotlight that shined right into my eyes as I sat near the front of the orchestra. That must be corrected. This show is very comparable to all the Las Vegas Cirque Du Soleil shows I attended ALL of them including my favorite show " O " at Bellagio. I also enjoy going back for repeat visits to Mystere at Treasure Island.
without seeing much about this, for the first time in Cirque history, this isn't sparking my interest.
We were only allowed to show certain things and only for so much time. The entire show is going to be great!!

This is Not the Cirque true fans know of old. This is an affront to Nashville talent.
And you can get that from a 3 minute clip of a 2 hour show?
Seriously?! Maybe let’s wait until the show actually starts to have definitive opinions on it. This clip shows a glimpse at best of what the whole show will be. Not to mention, much of the musicians and singers are FROM Nashville and at peak talent for their musical genre and a diverse cast that accompanies them, which is no insult to Nashvilles talent in any sense.
@@cirqueclips You do realize that they’re showing “highlights” which implies that this is the best that the show has to offer……. There’s no need to wait.
@@nashvegasYes. It’s that’s bad. All you have to do is look at the list of designers who “worked” on this show and you’ll see that this is not their best, far from it.
@@jackmidst8304 This is a preview. The show hasn’t even started yet. July 2nd is the first show. These “highlights” are of the two acts used to tease the show. Nothing more.
